sanford brown institute School closed before I could graduate white plains, New York

I attended Sanford Brown Institute from 2005-2006. I went on my maturity leave and when I went back to get a class schedule they closed. All they had to say was 'sorry'. I worked my butt off there and had no warning that they were closing. No one contacted while on was on my maturity leave. Now I owe student loans and Sanford Brown is on my credit report, it was suppose to never be there. They told me I wouldn't owe them the $6,500 that was not covered under my sallie mae but it shows up on my credit report so no wonder I can't get any loans. I never received any form of a transcript or anything. I was left with nothing but a big bill. I only had one semester left... just one. I am totally screwed now, can't get a good job, have bad credit, and have no way to prove the education that I got there.
