Save Point Financial Loan Modification -David Craig LOAN MODIFICATION, HOME SAVER LEGAL PROGRAM Costa Mesa, California

 I found two other complains about this company and I really feel the need to let people know that I have good reasons to believe that this company is a scam.

My boyfriend also tried to do a loan modification thru them and received an approval letter to sign, asking him to pay $2895.00 of the service cost total of $5695.00, the letter states that he received a federal grant of $2800 so he is only paying the balance of the service cost. Also his interest rate went from 10.540% to 4.875%. The letter also requests for the payment to be made with an overnight money order, cashier's check or certified check. Their letter also has pictures or banners from the Online Business Bureau, LAtimes.com, CBS, Bankrate.com, NC, The wallstreet journal (I could not make out the rest of them due to the photo quality). Banners, Emblems or pictures like this usually represent the fact that the company has been featured on those companies, newpapers and such.

My boyfriend found this to be too good to be true, so he asked me to check it out for him before he did anything else with them.

I checked the BBB and this company is not listed at all.

I checked the California Secretary of State to search for this business and this business is not registered in the State of CA.

I also checked the address in google and I come across Lee Huestis APC-Attorney & Advisor, currently at that address and Save Point Financial is no where to be found in that business complex or anywhere else for that matter.

I also searched CBS, NBC and The Wall Street Journal for any articles, news or even mentioned of Save Point Financial and found nothing, which will tell me that this company has never been featured with them.

We don't need any more proof to know that this is a scam. Please use CAUTION!
