I signed up for Travel Express because they talked a good game - tons of savings, the convenience of your own personal travel agent, and free plane tickets anywhere in the country.

Unfortunately, they outsource their agents to India, and the people they use do not have a complete command of the language, nor do they understand American geography. I needed to take my foster daughter to see Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. They booked tickets to Lafayette Lousiana. I did not scrutinize the itinerary well enough and a when I saw Lafayette LA, I thought thewe were abbreviating Lafayette! We ended up in Loisiana. It was awful.

When I complained, the supervisor told me it was my problem, and I should have caught the mistake.

Bottom line: the travel agents are young girls from a foreign country who know nothing about the field. I'm sure they pay the poor girls peanuts. They are not qualified to make travel plans. This company will not make your travels easier. It is easier to book your own flights on the Internet. As for prices - any price they have quoted me for a known entity, such as club Med, is more than I could get on my own. If something seems too good to be true, it is.

Also, you'll never get the free tickets promised! I sent the voucher in and they never came! I feel silly on so many levels. Don't put yourself in this position. Save your money and put it towards a nice vacation.
