I purchased a book that was advertised "half price". It rang up full price. When I told the clerk, she said that the sale was over. That was a lie. The dates were clearly posted by the books. I told her, "the dates are posted". Then she said ok, I will give it to you for half price, "since you are so alert".

She rang it up as half price. I left the store but returned immediately. I confronted her and ask if she was not supposed inform the customer that since the item was incorrectly priced, that she was to give me the item free. She said "no".

I confronted her again, telling her that is Albertsons policy. She said that they didn't inform the customer. I told her that what she was doing was deceptive and dishonest. She did, however, refund my money but only after trying to get me to take another item free, instead of the refund. Then the change dispenser dispensed too much money (which I returned to her). This store is a disaster.

How many other coustomers were ripped off on this book sale and then lied to by the clerk.
