I called Saxon one day and was speaking to a guy named Steve, in May 2008.I asked him why my escrow was so high.He stated that Saxon had paid my Taxes..I said ok I have that money so I am going to send it so my escrow won't be a minus amount..He then said OH YEAH we also paid your house insurance. I asked him why, he said he didnt know but that the house insurance wa paid to my company iN the amount of $609.OO AND WASN'T DUE AGAIN until May 2009.
Well my house insurance isn't due till May 5th and this conversation was 3 days before and I was going to go to my insurance company and personally pay it, But I asked him if he was sure of this and he said yes, and I said ok i wont go pay them to my insurance company I will just send the money to Saxon to bring down my escrow from being so high.
.He then said well send the tax money in first we will take care of that first then send in the house insurance amount..I asked him if i could send the tax money together with my morgage payment ..he said yes so a few days later I sent them in together, my tax money and morgage money.A month later I noticed the amount was not applied to my escrow the whole amount was put on my principle .
THats not what I wanted..several CALLS TO Saxon I kept getting switched from department to department no one helping with the problem.In the meantime with me explaining my problem about the house insurance and taxes everyone I spoke to told me my house insurance was paid when I asked. cALLS TO THE COMPANY WENT ON A FEW DAYS A MONTH still no satisfaction. I have all ID #'S to everyone I spoke to.SOME OF THEM TOLD ME THEY WOULD LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM AND CALL ME BACK ALSO GIVING ME THERE Id AND EXTENSION numbers, They didn't ever call me back and when I called back to see what the problem was no one knows what I am talking about and all extension numbers were bogus. I even repeated the extension numbers given to me and was told yes that is correct.I have been on the phone for HOURS with these people.Two- three months later I find that they NEVER paid my house insurance. My broker called me and asked me why I didn't pay my house insurance and I told him of my ongoing problem with SAXON.He told me the house insurance company canceled me. I CALLED BACK SAXON. I asked the first person I spoke to if my house insurance was paid..she said yes Then I told her my house insurance company called me and wanted to know why it wasn't paid and that Saxon needed to call him and tell him it was paid..she said she couldn't do this and switched me to another person. This was JUly 7th I should have been on my way to the hospitol which was 1 hour away to see my very first grandbaby born.Instead I was on the phone with SAXON STILL ARGUING ABOUT MY ESCROW ACCOUNT STILL NOT TaKEN CARE OF and NOW this women telling me NO that my house insurance wasn't paid by them. I told her what Steven told me and gave her his ID..and that I wanted them to call my house isurance company and tell them it was there mistake that he told me it was paid.She also was suppose to get back to me..never did.
I finally got a letter from a Jeannette Greenwood after I reported this to the BBB..She sent me a letter with a telephone number.It was not a direct line to her and she gave no extension.She gave a number to a office to Saxon yes but not even in the same building she works in and no one knew her number or extension.ONe person found it finally, wouldn't give it to me but connected me ONLY to leave her a voice mail..She also never contacts me back. SOOOO
this is an ongoing problem of hours on the phone and I Mean hours and shoving me from person to person having to repeat my story every time only to be shoved on someone else and to this day no calls back and problem not solved.Every insurance company I have called wants to give me a high amount to pay for house insurance because I was cancelled from my last insurance company. This problem is still not solved and I am stuck paying house insurance of over $1000.00 A YEAR. and it only covers the shell of my house not my own belongings.making my morgage payment over a hundred dollars or more a month. DONT DEAL WITH SAXON MORGAGE.NOT ONE PERSON IN THAT OFFICE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING OR CARES.
