Ever since Saxon Mortgage took over our home mortgage in 2003, when we first bought our home, we have had nothing but trouble, frustration, pain, stress and numerous useless conversations with their rude and uncaring customer service reps. Because of the loss of my full-time job in 2004, we had to make payment arrangements with them.

Not only was I told a different story every time I called Saxon, but they were also not applying my payments correctly and insisted that we were three months behind. I had to literally print off our payment records from their website, go through each payment and specify where each should have been applied, and fax it to them to even get them to listen to me.

I told them repeatedly that their records were incorrect, yet not one of their so-called customer service reps would even consider looking into it, including a supervisor of the loss mitigation department. I was told by more than one rep and the supervisor that if we couldn't afford our house, then we should prepare to sell it. They had absolutely no interest in listening to what I had to say. All they wanted, now that I think about it, was to hopefully foreclose on our house.

After I had sent in the proof, off of their website, and submitted a complaint with the BBB, they finally had to straighten out our account. However, I NEVER received an apology by anyone at the company for their wrongdoings or for all the stress they put me through. I had to request the apology through the BBB.

I was hopeful that that incident was the last, but I was sorely mistaken. I am currently going through the exact same problem again where they supposedly put me on a repayment plan in December 2004 for six months, but, when I tried to make a payment, it was refused because it did not meet their "minimum requirement".

Again, they show I'm three months behind, which is incorrect, and show an amount in a suspense account that has not been applied. When asked why the payment plan was cancelled, they could not tell me and said that we had reniged on six previous payment plans, which is entirely false. We only had two payment plans total and we were current on all of them, so why and how they can just cancel a plan without even notifying you is beyond my understanding. I have currently submitted another dispute through the BBB (March 2005), as well as this report, in hopes of finding some closure or assistance.

Saxon Mortgage is a fraud, has misrepresented their services, and is only interested in your property. I would gladly pursue any lawsuit against this company, as they have caused me nothing but undue stress and frustration, in addition to everything else that goes on in daily life, and I believe this is extremely unfair. I have read rip-off reports of other consumers against them, yet no one knows where to turn.

To buy a house in this day and age is quite a feat in itself, especially if you have less-than-perfect credit, and those of us who work hard for the American dream of owning a home should not have to submiss to a fraudulent company such as Saxon Mortgage.

Please contact me if anyone would like to pursue legal action against them.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
