Anyone who might be doing a Class Action Lawsuit against Saxon PLEASE PLEASE let me know b/c you can count me in!!! I've dealt w/ many incompetent people in my life but these folks take the cake! A few months ago after Saxon refusing anything including accepting my payments I did a quick search online to find out many other horror stories of other people that are so similar to mine. I'm terribly sorry that others are facing what I am with this company. I feel your sorrow, feel that pain & frustration as well. I remember one instance of a Saxon employee who called me wanting money...he could barely speak English. I thought how dare he come to this country & threaten to take my home. That's when I really put myself in motion on fighting back the best I could. I am one that speaks her peace and cry foul when I see it. I have no problem being verbal & my mouth gets me into a pickle now/then. I think that I intimidate many but at least I can say that I stand up for what is right, fight back & remain responsible with the morals that I was raised. America used to be so powerful, others were envious of us...but now look at what we face behind closed doors. Our economy has become a pathetic mess. My Saxon story...I rented this brick ranch home for 5 years knowing the entire time that the owner was willing to sell. My ex husband left me in financial ruin years ago in which I worked dang hard to build my life high. In March 2006 I had plenty plenty plenty in savings, a large $ CD, paid my bills, great credit & had $ left over from paychecks. Life was going so well. Then the owner stated he was going to sell, I thought great the timing was perfect! I bought this house for a steal! To me it was an investment....pay the owner $110,000 in which the house is worth $141,000 at the time. Not to mention the total of the loan for house, closing costs, etc... totaled $118,000. Who in their right mind would pass that up! I was up for a promotion in July 2006 in which due to my position of investigating internal & external, 30 days before the promotion I turned in 5 members of the company to my district supervisor & the corporate office. I won't even start in on this 'well known' company. Well I closed on the house July 5, 2006. The house was mine w/ an automatic $31,000+ investment w/ no extra expense to get it! Boy was I a happy camper! :) The following week I find out that I did NOT get the promotion, of course one of the 3 on my interview panel was my 'new' supervisor that did not know my work or ability which my old supervisor wanted me to get the promotion as well as everyone else, another on the panel was someone who was losing her job who had never met me, and the 3rd one of the mgrs (who even knew) that I'd turned him in for theft & forgery of a tax form not to mention the year before of his prior thefts which was swept under the rug after a slap on the hand. I had signed witness statements from others & a police officer as well. Had I gone against company policy & had the folks immediately arrested without informing my supervisor or corporate and I'd not have gotten the promotion of course I'd be sitting now on a nice chunk of money and not have to work. But I turned them in to my supervisor & corporate who swept each incidence w/ each of the 5 under the rug. Anyways....so I use use up my vacation, personal time, etc....and receive a 3 week severance pkg. Jobs here are slim pickins & I'd applied for hundreds. I was either overqualified or so many applying, etc... A month after my mortgage was sold to Saxon. So I kept making my house payments & paying all my other bills using my remaining money & then dipping into my savings all the while still job hunting. Months went by and paying all my bills I drained my savings, cashed in my CD & kept paying using those funds. In April 2007 I sign on to Saxon's website to make a payment ON TIME using the SAME payment method I always used....wouldn't accept it. So i spent 4 days transferring money around to another acct, I call & tell them using my CC they say don't take CC yet after I'd just been told by Saxon while waiting for my funds to transfer that to call & make a CC pymt....I go back online after tossing the money into my husband's checking acct....I sign on & make a payment. The following month I had the money in a different acct, signed online to pay ON TIME....it won't take it. I call screaming at them. I end up making that payment another way. In July 2007 I was 7 days late on making my payment....I get online to pay & BAM. Won't take it! I call them...tell me won't take partial pymt, told them it's a FULL month pymt, they tell me b/c of fees it's called a partial if not paying fees but yet tell me make a pymt & they'd put fees at end of loan or whatever. I run to Kroger to use Western Union to make a pymt w/ cash this time. Guy enters all info & pops up won't accept it MUST call. I call them there in the store & get into a screaming match w/ her. She's wanting to set up a pymt plan wanting all this personal identifying info....I thought I'm not speaking outloud my SSN, etc... I called 2 more times when I flew back home. They still wouldnt help fix anything. I call loss mitigation. She tells me oooops sorry you have NOT been with us for a year yet until the following month so can't help AND also since we were not 3 months behind in pymts there was nothing they could do. I was furious! 2 hours later a Saxon idiot calls me & I thought they did not just ask me where my payment was!....yup, they did! I try to make a payment but they won't take the money yet call me in a bit to ask where the money was, I thought they are nothing but a sick joke. Next few days my husband & I were both on the phone w/ them numerous times....regular idiots who answer the phones that each give a different story when you talk to them, to loss mitigation, etc.... No help. Aug. rolls around & still getting into it w/ them. Then the end of aug. my total due was something like $2400 which the following day of Sept. was now a whopping 4200. Well, $2400 plus 1228.17 and 53 in late fees does NOT add up to 4200....must be that foreign guy who called me that did the math. By Nov. I still could get nowhere w/ them. Even from being late by 7 days on first month being late in July they sent pre-forclosure threatening letters....even loss mitigation lady said I shouldnt have gotten it! I kept getting them. Their verbal prepayment plan even back in Sept. I could not afford...was an outrageous amount they wanted up front. In Nov. I rec'd certified letters stating going to foreclosure...a week later letters from their atty saying going to foreclose. Week later atty's office sends certified letters twice w/ forclosure date of sale & time. This point I really thought screw you! Went to see atty in Oct. Hired atty in Nov. The sale was for today Dec. 3 at 12:34 pm on the courthouse steps. Yes I have a job now and working extreme overtime so my only day off was spent getting together paperwork upon paperwork....31 pages of stuff to fill out and things to dig for to file Chapter 13. Saxon's atty has an amount owed of let's see....$126,000 I believe was the prior amount, but now it is higher. Ok...my mortgage was for 118,000....late monthly payments put it this way I should actually only owe $6140 something plus just over 250 in late fees. Well but that is a PART of the actual 118000 mortgage amount b/c they're monthly pymts!!! Yet Saxon says I owe 126000 before their atty gets ahold of it? Needless to say from what I paid MY atty & the 274 bankruptcy filing fee equals 2 house payments....which I'd rather pay but is not accepted! Saxon will NOT do a forebearance, they will not defer payments, nothing. They want payment plans that NOONE can afford. For some reason 2 nites ago I pulled up my acct online at Saxon. My amt there still shows the 118000, shows each of my payments due but ONLY 2 of them show 1228.17...the others show 1245 whatever. Yet also a listing for late fees. My interest rate does NOT change until Aug. 2008 which can ONLY go up 2%. So why this rate hike in my monthly payments???? My escrow amount is NOT equaling up to the amounts of $333/yr insurance and my property taxes! Now it's even showing a negative $444 something. They are so screwing w/ my acct. I want a printout of each & every payment or what they've placed onto my acct. My atty plans to contest per my wishes after the filing of bankruptcy is finished. We did file the regular paperwork on Friday so that a Motion of Stay would be in place. There was NO way that I would allow my house to be sold muchless sold & wait the 30 days for someone to close before being told they cant have it! Of course I was pissed off that my name & personal business was aired in the newspaper. It's a public matter but still...that is MY business. While waiting for today to come I DARED anyone to come by here 'checking' out the place MUCHLESS knock on the door. Had I lost my home they'd have to physically remove me. Rec'd an email from my atty today while I was at work stating that Saxon's atty had cancelled the foreclosure after my atty called him. hahhaha :) Ball is back in MY court! Yes I am contesting every penny above the 118000. I will pay gladly the amount that I actually owe w/ 5% monthly late fees. I dont want to pay my atty an extra $175 an hour to contest...but it's principle...I'd rather pay him than Saxon! I feel horrible that others are facing so much w/ Saxon as well. I plan to pay monthly thru bankruptcy what i owe in pymts and then at tax time probably for the next 2 yrs I'll slap on that chunk each time to knock all this out. Thing is....I will now have this on my credit for filing bankruptcy for 10 yrs. I've never been in this much of a mess! I'm furious. Oh yes while job hunting there are so many companies now that check credit, unbelievable amount! I want away from this company but now I cannot refinance anywhere. Had Saxon have taken my payments I would NOT be in this situation. I was left w/ no other choice but to file Chapter 13 to save my home. I'm curious to see how long it takes for the money from the court trustee to be credited to my acct at Saxon! Ought to prove interesting. Dirty company, incompetent employees. They'll each feed you different stories until you almost don't know which way is up! I knew months ago after reading other people's horror stories w/ this company that I'd be next. Not to mention after the foreclosure sale notice in the newspaper I received numerous mail by attys & other idiots who have no business poking their nose into my business. Of course I saved those & when I get a free moment I plan to call them all & give them a piece of my mind.

There is already a class action lawsuit being filed again Saxon Mortgage Services, I called the US Attorney General's Office to file a complaint against Saxon myself, and was told by his assistant that he already had several compalints against Saxon Mortgage and was getting ready to file a Class Action Lawsuit against them.

He said if I could hold on for a little longer, I could get some help, but if I don't get help soon, I too will be close to loosing my home. I suggest you call the US Attorny General or write his office a letter with your complaint and you will automatically be added into to the lawsuit.
