SC Kiosks, Inc. - Sam's Club upgrades cost more here Fort Collins Colorado

After upgrading my daughters AT&T cell phone plan at SC Kiosks, inc. in the Fort Collins, CO Sam's Club I found that they increased the price by $30 compared to Best Buy and Sam's Club online. Either I had a choice of purchasing the Palm Centro for $49.95 + $30 montly data plan OR I could buy the phone for $79.95 without the data plan.

I asked if I could get the data plan then cancel it after the first month. The sales manager said he would not agree to that plan now that I mentioned it. I signed the new 2 yr contract and paid the $85.00/w tax for the phone. I then went to (((competitor's name redacted))) and found out they offer the same phone through AT&T for only $49.95 period. You didn't have to pay the extra $30 whether you wanted the data plan or not.

In addition, I notice Sam's Club online offers the Palm Centro AT&T upgrade for the same price (((competitor's name redacted))) does, $49.95 period. I think SC Kiosks, inc. increases the price by adding on that data plan option and penalizing you for not choosing it. I felt like I ate that extra $30 when I could have gotten it cheaper through either Best Buy or Sam's Club online.

Check out (((competitor's name redacted))) before upgrading your cell phone plan because they instantly give you the rebate, they do not work on comission, and the price is much better than the rip off SC Kiosks, inc. in Sam's Club.
