Schofield Media Group Schofield Media Shuts Down and is coming back under a new name - Chicago, Illinois

I learned this week that Schofield media was shut down this week because they say that the bank pulled their funding. It was on the news here in Chicago about how all of their employees came to work Monday morning and was told that they had 30 minutes to pack up all of their belongings and get out. My husband told me that is was mostly caused by gross mis management.

There was no warning at all. He also told me that they are coming back as a new company and will begin to ramp up operations as soon as they can. I think it would be good to hear from cureent and former employee's about what happened but I am sure that they were lied to for the real reason why Well Fargo pulled funding.

He also tells me that employees are staying tight lipped in hopes that they will get their old job back. He said that the managers at Schofield spend all day long on the internet looking for anything negative about them and they have meetings trying to figure out ways to have bad publicity removed.

Are you a former employee? If so it would great to hear your version of what happened. We have three kids and a mortgage and now we are stuck in limbo. When he filed for un employment he also learned that they have been cooking the books on actual employment dates. It seems that they list employees as only working there for short periods of time so un employment benefits are payed out as small as possible. After more than five years of service with them they have not given him or any other employee a straight answer and have treated them and him like a pos. He has been very depressed this week and I told him NOT to go back to work for them.

Beware of Schofield Media because they are preparing to ramp up operations under a new name and a new address.

If you are considering working for them under their new business name you should look elsewhere becuase this is how you will be treated. If you are a copany and have been contacted by them you should avoid them at all cost's since they will ruin your relantionship with your vendors.
