SCI*STAMPS.COM Devious practices by SCI*STAMPS.COM Internet

After realizing that SCI*STAMPS.COM had been billing my credit card for $15.99 for months, I think I have gotten to the bottom of these thieves.

Back before the United States Post Office had instituted Click-N-Ship, the vendor they recommended for doing at home mailings was Stamps.com (SCI*STAMPS.COM). You had to fill your account with a credit balance that would cover the purchase of postage.

What they didn't tell you was that they were going to also charge you a monthly "license fee". For what, I still haven't determined, as the customer gets nothing for this fee.

I did, after endless waiting on hold, manage to cancel this insidious account, but I don't see any recourse for my lack of due diligence.

It appalls me that this was a vendor for the U.S. Postal Service.
