On February 15th 2008 I ordered from www.scootrichmond.com the following scooter related item as advertised : Semi-hydraulic front disc brake, 20mm-PX Grimeca Classic, $499.99 (part number V09-702) To this day I have yet to receive my item, I received one message via email from Scootrichmond, the message appears below:
"Hi there! We will be placing an order with SIP by the end of the week at the very latest, and we'll get one of these disc brake set ups for you in that order. Therefore we should have the brake kit in your hands in the first week in March. Will that work for you? Let me know if there are any problems with that delivery time.
Thanks! Scoot Richmond"
The part was not received in the first week of March and I have called several times left several messages via phone as well as email. This company is deliberately ignoring my request for an order update. At this point I want to cancel my order. I am unable to reach them via phone or email to do even that. They took my credit card details, however given that I am unable to reach them in any form, this has created a bit of suspicion in me that they are not honest in their selling practices.
Right now I seek to obtain a confirmation from them that my order has been fully canceled. As well as an apology from the partial owner of Scootrichmond, 'Chelsea' for lying to me about an item that will never arrive. This entire experience has been most upsetting. As a last effort move to cover their tracks they have now removed the item from their website. Which would point to the fact that they indeed have received my emails and calls related to my order. I have since made a copy of the website page prior to this cowardly act. I do fail to understand why they choose not to easily remedy the situation by just being honest and communicating with me about my order. This company lies and has been very disrespectful.
