On March 3, 2014, I received an alert from Scoresense indicating a change was noted.  I signed onto the site to review the information, which was correct.  Returning to the home page to sign off, I was confronted with an offer to purchase my credit scores for the three reporting bureaus for $19.95.  The options were “Purchase” or “no Thanks” and I opted to decline.  I then went to another tab before returning to the home page when I clicked on the “No Thanks”.  I must have missed the small button surrounding the large “Purchase” button because the screen immediately changed indicating I just purchased the information.  The site is set up for clients to click on the “Accept” button without a provision to review the purchase prior to confirmation.  I closed the entire screen immediately and called the 800 number to contact a CSR, explaining that I didn’t want the reports, didn’t see the reports and did not benefit from the erroneous transaction.  She took my information and said she would put it into the system for review.   A few days later I received an email with the following statement: “Not Approved: The refund was not approved because you requested the refund after your communicated billing date”.  I called the 800 number again and talked with Jayson who told me he could not explain what the rejection wording meant other than it came from “Corporate”.  Since I was underwhelmed with his performance I asked to be removed from the monthly service.  He informed me I was one of a few older clients who currently enjoyed a grandfathered fee structure and therefore he would be happy to remove me.  Never again will I do business with Scoresense.
