In late May of 2011, I was contacted by an individual saying he was calling to help me modify my current mortgage.  He told me that I had been late on my mortgage, and he could help.  I told him that I was a mortgage broker and that I did not need his help.  He continued to get angry, and say that I couldn't pay my mortgage because I was a horrible loan officer, and that I was going to lose my house, etc.

I finally just hung up the phone.  He continued to call my cell phone, and then he left a message.  His message went on to say that he was going to report me to RipOff.com, saying that I was a child molester, a scam artist and that he would ruin any future business I might get. 

Originally, the guys said he was from Bank of America.  After hearing his voice mail, I went to the Charlotte Hall, MD branch of Bank of America and spoke with the mortgage manager.  I let her listen to the voice mail, and asked her about the guy.  She said that Bank of America will not contact people from a BLOCKED phone number.  She made the assumption that the guy calling me was just trying to get money out of me for a loan modification program that would never work.  This Ripoff ad says that I have been arrested 5 times.  I have never been arrested, and that can be proven.  I would like this Ripoff ad removed ASAP!!!  I had sent an email to RipOff.com explaining this situation, the day it happened.  I never got a response.  I hope someone will try and help me.
