Scott Irons operated Certified Capitol in Fort Lauderdale with partners Nigel and Melanie Alston . They took investor money to buy defaulted mortgage notes in fractional pools. They still advertise as the "Note Experts". In short they closed up the office one weekend and disappeared defrauding all investors and keeping the millions of dollars.

Just like Scott Rothstein. There are multiple lawsuits against them in Broward County for fraud and acting as a lawyer without actually being a lawyer. Investors don't even know what they did with the money, they just took it.
