Scotts One hour Air Air conditioner sales and installation lakeland Florida

I used this company to replace my air handler and heat pump in June 2014. A 2 ton unit cost me $9500 for what I later learned, several sold for thousands less. Guess that is what Scotts one hour air does to elderly retirees.

During installation they broke my main water pipe. while pulling out the old pipe from the air handler to the unit, they violently pulled the old pipe whick lie alongside my main water feed. After the instalation all seemed well until December when I turned my heat on. No heat. I had a fancy thermostat that they  moved to the new unit but was apparently incompatible with their system. The heat would not switch over. The unit came with a years service on labor, 10 years parts and warranty from the manufacturer. When I called they wanted to charge me for a service call until I protested.

Then they wanted to charge me $175 for a thermostat to replace mine. The thermostat they replaced it with sells on the internet for under $60.  This is just over six months after I paid them THOUSANDS of DOLLARS more than I should have for my purchase. They did conceed on the thermostat when I pulled out the original paperwork that listed a thermostat they had never given me. I have to laugh ... a Complete new unit with no thermostat. Like a car without a battery to start it.

Recommendation?  The technicians seem qualified in their craft, However I would NOT recommend Scotts one hour air to my worst enemy unless you have money to throw away...
