Sea And Air Cargo International Ripoff scam dishonest fraudulent North Miami Beach Florida

I used Sea & Air cargo for a move from Westport, CT to Cordoba, Argentina. It was a NIGHTMARE of an experience. After more than 3 months of waiting, complaining to Sea&Air, the FLorida-BBB and the US Federal Maritime Commission (FMC), I finally managed to get my cargo. But it was a long, painful and expensive road.

I understand there are several complaints about this company with the FMC (please see other reports filed with ripoffreports.com on this company). My cargo arrived in the Buenos Aires port 2 months after it was picked up in CT (it should have taken no more than 20 days) while Sea&Air refused to give me any details about the location of my container all along. Sea&Air held hostage my cargo in the Buenos Aires until it finally paid the sea freight from CT to Argentina (despite I had paid $7,000 in advance for the door-to-door moving) only after I contacted the Argentine consulate in Miami. Last but not least, I ended doing myself (and paid for) customs/port clearance and transportation from the Bs As port in Argentina to Cordoba (final destination) because Sea&Air did not have enough money to cover those costs. Sea&Air has now agreed to reimburse me for just a portion of those costs (it is not really a reimbursement because I have to dispute the charges by Sea&Air with my credit card).

Do not fall prey of this company. It is operating illegally. Its objective is to rip people off. We need to stop Idan and Irish Ohana from continuing operating (the salesperson I dealt with was a woman called Mirella and was also part of the scam).
