I bought a washing machine at the Sears outlet store Grapevine Mills mall. It looks like the newer version of the last Kenmore washer we had...that one just now died. I have owned several washing machines ....all Kenmore for 34 years. This new machine is louder than a weedwacker. it is awful...too loud for in the house. i asked to upgrade it ...told me i cannot upgrade or return it...this is the day after i bought it. No one told me the outlet store is not SEARS...i am pissed. i hate this machine...i a am stuckk with it ...i will never do business with SEARS at any store for any item again. ..AND they were pretty rude telling me tough luck...you should have read the fine print.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Sometimes it pays to research

Firstly let me say I am sorry you have to go through this. But.... Sometimes it does pay to do a little research of your own when making a large purchase like you did. Most OUTLET stores are those that sell overstock or IRREGULAR items (dings, scratches, reconditioned, etc). Although you purchased this item from an Outlet store and it may not be to your liking or is not working like you think it should you still should have a one year manufacturers warranty. Call the technician and have him come out to take a look at it.
Also remember, the person who was nasty to you has a boss. Contact their boss. I work for this company and I know the integrity that our superiors hold us accountable for. Let them know you are not happy. If you talk to the right people resolution will be made.
Again I am sorry you had to deal with this bit it seems as though mistakes were not only made by Sears but by the consumer as well.
