Second Chance Financial Tom Wallace This Company is a ripoff Oswego Illinois

Yesterday(7/28/2014) I was contacted by Second Chance Financial, leaving a message on my phone that it was important that I call them right away. Today I called back and this individual statied I had an unpaid payday loan and they took over the account to collect. Upon requesting the information of the original debtor I was given the response of " we do not have that information and asked if I would like to settle" when my response was no he threatened to put a garnishment on my wages and suspend my drivers licence. they then proceeded to say thank you and hang up. The same person called me again a few hours later and asked if I have changed my mind about settling I stated no. I tried to push them off to another day that I would pay, but it was stated to me that "this is a one time deal either I pay now or it will go back to the law firm that bought the loan for pennies on the dollar, and sold it to us for a big profit".  The amount that they wanted to settle for was $500. When I said that I did not have it that I wouldnt have it until Thursday 7/31, He said that he would try to get that approved and get me in the amnesty program. He put me on hold and came back and said Thursday was OK, but he would have to take a reservation on the money, In other words, take my credit card information and hold to Thursday. I told him I did not have any credit cards with me, so he gave me until 5:00 pm to call him back with the number.
