I ordered a trial sample of perfect skin anti-aging serum on 4-10-17 via internet

It arrived 14 days later on 4-24-17

They had included a bottle of exfoliant for $19.95, that I did not order!

I was in the hospital when it finally arrived on 4-23-17.  When I opened the package on 5-4-17,  I immediately called the company to cancel future orders and get the charge for the exfolient removed.  I spoke to Patrick, a customer rep, who assured Me the charge for $19.95 would be removed from my card.( it was)  I then asked if this had been placed on autoship, when he said yes, I asked to be removed from this.  I asked him if I needed to return the product aand was told no, just throw it away!

When I recieved my card statement, I discovered I had been charged $89.41 for this trial sample.  I contacted customer service, who told me that I had to cancel and return the product before day 15 (4-24-17).  This would have been impossible, since it did not arrive until the 4-23-17. Mark, the customer rep was very curt and I asked to speak with a supervisor.  He said there was nothing a supervisor could do and I repeated that I wished to speak to a supervisor.  He then Hung Up on me!  The next day I called again and was told that there was no supervisor that I could speak with.  He reiterated that the charge was for the"trial sample, because It was not returned unopened within 15 days!

This company is a SCAM!  Delayed shippment so that it would be impossible to return under the dates imposed

DO Not order from them!!!

secret serums still deceptive!

E ven the rebuttal from the company was deceptive!

5/04/17 No one explained terms or conditions to me, just agreed to refund the product I did not order that was sent to me ( please note how many other customers complained about the same practice)

I asked if I had been signed up for automatic shipment ( not told this, nor was it on the ordering website)- I told them I wanted to be removed from this.  No one offered information that I would be charged the full amount if package was not returned within 15 days and unopened!  How is this considered a 15 day trial if one can not try the product?

6/04/17  After I had been billed $89 I did call and No One offered me a refund of any kind.  I politely asked to speak with a supervisor and was denied after waiting 15 minutes,  I asked a second time and was hung up on.

6/05/17  I called back to once again try to speak with a supervisor, and was denied again.  I was told there was no one else to speak with.  I asked if there was any way to correct this issue short of contacting my credit card company.  I was told no

I have learned my lesson- do not contact advertisements solicited on internet pages!

Secret Serums tried to help this customer - did not allow us to.

Hi Marie,

On reviewing your interaction with customer service, there are several discrepencies in your report.

You did call customer service on 5/04 regarding charges, and we immediately refunded you the price of the cleanser that was mistakenly included in your order.   On this call, our represenative explained the terms and conditions to you - you claimed you were OK with the charges, and simply requsted your account be cancelled, which it was.

On 6/04 you called back in to dispute the charges (stemming from your 4/26 billing, before you spoke to us on 5/04).  Our customer service rep attempted to look through your order history, and was prepared to offer a 50% refund, however you did not allow them to speak and claimed you were filing a dispute with your credit card before abruptly ending the call.

One day later your called back again to make sure you account was cancelled, which it was as of 5/04. As a policy, once a dispute is filed we are no longer able to offer any refunds, as it is now a transaction between you and your bank.
