Securitas Security Services Securitas Slashed wages, took away ALL sick time & vacation at Amgen site Seattle Washington

On March 28th, 2014 Securitas took over the contract at Amgen in Seattle, WA. Employees previously with AlliedBarton Security were now under Securitas. 

Securitas cut everyone's wages, employees who had been at that site for years! They also stipped away vacation, which for many of use was 1 - 3 weeks worth. ALL sick and safe time was removed, even the time earned from the new City of Seattle Ordinence. 

Security officers were not making much to begin with. Many were no where near above $14.00 an hour, but Securitas AND AMGEN deemed that too expensive.

Officers were cut to 12.75/hour and 13.25/hour, depending on the position. It would have been less had we not had a Union contract in place clearly stating the minimum wages.

HOWEVER employees are not done fighting. We are prepared to rally in the streets to get this shameful act out to the public! The Union doesn't want to embaress AMGEN, but they cannot expect to continue acting like this in secret!

At a time when Seattle is fighting for a liveable wage ($15.00/hour), Securitas and Amgen are cutting wages! Truly disgraceful!
