After working for Securitas for 8 months I learned that they do not uphold the integrity that the founders intended.
Three other guard and I were constantly being harassed by the supervisor, written up even when we weren't there, and she was padding her time. She would destroy the orignals that had all the signatures on it.
The office received ur complaints and asked for written statements. These were given, along with supporting documents that the supervisor had either written herself, or signed off on as being correct.
The supervisor was demoted to my position and I was booted out by them finally offering me a position that they knew I could not fill.
I am out of a job and Shawntay Talley continues to work and receive a pay check. My rent is well past due and now no one is available when I call nor will they return my calls.
The supervisor was late for over a month, blocked the guards phone numbers and continue to be unprofessional.

There were several things left out including the fact that alot of the guards were sleeping with the higher ups. It was almost as if You werent sleeping around you were not in the in crowd and got treated even more poorly. We had an issue with the Field supervisor Major Green ( Who was later fireds after he used the company credit cardto fill his gas tank up numerous times) He slept with majority of the guards including a supervisor who was his wifes cousin. BTW his wife worked for the company too. He was also sleepng with a guard and after he was foced to remove the guard from her site she filed a sexual harassment complaint. When he was replaced with G Farmer it was even worst but Farmer was into the kinky stuff he and his wife ( who did not work for the company) propositioned a guard to have sex with the both of them. These are just a few things I have a whole laundry list of things. This and most security companies are beyond disgraceful

Securitas is owned by some foreign security conglomerate with offices in SWEDEN!
What were you expecting?
ALL SECURITY COMPANIES LIKE THIS ONE ARE A RIP-OFF!
Everybody is treated well at first ,and then, they don't want you around to get a raise or benefits! All that money that is scammed goes to the manager who is probably being scammed too.

Security companies do NOT want to hear about personality conflicts on a post.
If you have to complain, you call corporate and do it ANONYMOUSLY!
Securitas is extremely bad about security officer retention.
YOU ARE NOT A HUMAN BEING TO THEM. You are just some sort of mindless, interchangeable, dispensible ROBOT and you have NO worth as a human being.
You found out what it is really like to work in the HELL of PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTORS and... you know something else, Cidney, THEY ARE ALL LIKE THIS!
ALL OF THEM!
Especially if you are African American, Mexican American, Native American or FEMALE!
ALL SECURITY COMPANIES ARE ALIKE! No matter the lies they tell you.
YOU ARE NOTHING BUT ONE-USE DISPOSABLE TRASH TO THEM!
Be glad you found out early, instead of wasting you life trying to work for them.
THERE IS NO SECURITY IN SECURITY WORK!
They RIP OFF the people who try to work for them, they rip off the clients whose employees and premises they purport to "protect" and they rip off each other!
Many of the owners and managers SHOULD BE IN PRISON!
A lot of money and weapons are laundered through "security companies."
DO NOT WORK FOR PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANIES! EVER!
