-Everything was fine in the beginning when I first purchased the car.  About about 2 months later I hear a loud noise coming from my car with an awful weird smell.  I called Security Auto Loan and told them what was going on.  I was told that they were only a "Finance" Company and that  I needed to have my car looked at and fixed.  This seemed unsual to me because I knew that this company did deferment payments and they did not even offer this to me.  I assumed this was because I was a new customer still.  I took the car in several weeks later when I had money to have it looked at.  I went to three different places and was told my exhaust pipe was broke. 

I have a 06 Mazda6.  A flex pipe was needed.  They don't sell those anywhere but from a dealership.  The part itself was 800.00 not including labor.  I was shocked! I called Security Auto loans back and told them what was going on.  All this time Feb-May I have been paying on the car with the issues.  I understand that I have to pay them I wanted time to get my car fixed.  I called and was told to do a derfment app online.  I did that and told them I needed to get my car fix asap before it gets worse.  I recieved a call and was told to fax the repairs. I did that right talong with filling out deferment paperwork.  I recieved a letter stating that I had been approved. 

While this is going on I'am making arrangements car to get fixed with the auto shop,  I get a call two days later at work stating I still owe payment.  I faxed another deferment signed paper.  I asked how did I owe if I had been approved for a deferment.  This man claimed to be a supervisor and had no idea.  I callled later to see what was going on.  I asked if and how long this deferment would take place.  The phone call at work was on  a Friday .  I called them back Saturday morning.  The "office manager was very very very disrespectful and rude. 

I asked how the deferment went because I have never had this sitaution happen to me before.  She explained that I was behind somehow and that the deferment took care of that which was not true.  I had been making my payments.  I asked her how was I behind and how was I going to have time to fix my vehicle.  It seemed fishy.  I asked to speak to a manager.  She repllied I AM the manager.  I said I want to speak to someone besides you about this account.  I was told you need to pay your bills.  I was so upset.  I called back same thing we ended up yelling back and forth.  This is when my account took a turn for the worst.  I kept getting harrassed at work home and on top of that my car still wasn't fixed.  On top of that by now its July August my boyfriend loses his job.  So now I'm paying the bills and on this car. 

I called in each time and told them when I could make a payment and each time I was disrespected.  One time they called my job 4 times in a row each time I picked up no one was on the other end.  I called them back from my cell phone and asked that they only contact me on my cell phone on break or afterwork. They are restricted at my job otherwise.  I was told "Well we did call you". "You didnt answer".  They knew that the type of company that I worked for only allowed emergency calls through front desk.  I asked them to call me after 4 I would answer.  I basically got tired of them direspecting me.  I think every single staff person from collections and customer called being unrprofessional.  I told them each time if late when I could make the payment and that I would pay in full. 

I really tried hard to work with this company.  I refuse to be yelled at and threatned .  I just stopped trying to call them out of good faith and payed them when I could.  One rep even boasted "You're account is all screwed up and if you don't pay it's just going to get worse.  I'm sure by the type of calls that I have gotten and the arguements notes were added out of spite.  Today 9-20-13 they repo my car.  I talked with 3 reps and told them I had the money in full I recieve my bonus next week which would of put me ahead for the next month.  I never got a warning or anything.  I owe then 300.?? My note ie 242.00 plus 300. for repo and 75.00 for towing.  I'm not sure its worth it.  I feel robbed and I'm scared that maybe somethings have happened with my money I don't know about!!

 First off I'm responding about my rip off complaint concerning  Security Auto Loans.  I ended up contacting a supervisor that reviewed my account and founf that  it had not been properly documented.  That was the reason that my car was repod. When I called in to olet them know when I was making payment it wasn't reported it,  They did work with me and I DO have my car back.  I have been assured and believe that this will not happen again.  The employees that were involved were terminated!! I did my own research!!

 They have heard every "excuse" known to man and they don't buy any of it.

They have NO obligation, whatsoever, to "work with you."

Back, again, to they only want the payment in full, on time, EVERY time.   YOU cannot dictate ANY terms of the contract you signed.  I know this will be beyond your understanding of how contracts work.

"Today 9-20-13 they repo my car."  "  I never got a warning or anything."

If NOT making your payments, as agreed" wasn't a warning, what more would you expect.  If they warned you, you could hide the car from them...it happens all the time.

What's the Ripoff.

Lastly, if you don't redeem your car, they'll sell it, usually for less than you owe and charge YOU the difference.
