I found in thevAM new york paper a front desk lobby attendant job. I took down their number. I called and spoke to ms mathews. She then had me come into her office located at 80 Broad street 11th floor. Once inside she then told me bring in $85 to file a application. I then was interviewed by ms mathews. And she explained to me that i must take a 8 16 hour class and a fire guard class as well i then gave her my money. Ms. Mathews then wrote me out a receipt. So i took all three classes at the end of the class i was told i have to bring $219 to get my certificate. Which i passed all classes never recieve a certicated. Then was told i needed another $250 for fingerprints urine test to be sent to albany then i will recieve my license in the mail. Now no job. Nothing. Its sad that people can do this to people that really want a job.
