I Purchase a Select Comfort Sleep number bed on 5-13-2006 when I received the mattress, the outer cover did not fit and the zipper was broke. I called Select Comfort and they told me to send the top of the mattress to them for replacement. I sent the top part of the mattress to them as they asked. On 6-12-2006 I called and was told it was received and I should be receiving a replacement in 7 days. They said they could not replace just the top part of the mattress and were to send a new mattress cover top and bottom.

On 7-10-2006 I still had not received the mattress. I called Select comfort back and was told that now I would have to pay for the mattress again. After over 5 months I finally filed with the BBB. After filing,I received a call from a Mary McDuffie, a supervisor with Select Comfort. Mary McDuffie was very nice at the time and told me if I sent her the bottom part of the mattress, she would send a replacement top and bottom within 7 days. I sent the mattress bottom to her at Select Comfort, it was delivered to Select Comfort on 12-12-2006 UPS Tracking Number 1z3v774y0393950460. The Mattress bottom was signed for by Select Comfort Employee Desmaris. I waited a week after delivery but still did not receive my mattress.

On 12-21-2006 I called Mary McDuffie to see what was going on. I was told by Mary McDuffie that she never received the mattress bottom. I gave her the tracking number and she said that she felt I was trying do something fishy, she also said some other things related to me being Dishonest, My attorney has listened to the Mwav. of the conversation. My attorney feels that the statements are very slanderous and is looking into what he can do legally both for Slander and to get my mattress or money back. When we take action it will be against both Parties below.

If you are reading this before you purchase from select Comfort, please beware, you may spend a lot of money and get nothing to show for it. There are a lot of air adjustable beds just like or even better than the sleep number, the prices are even less on some. Check out those companies on your search engine and stay away from select comfort.

I do not want to say any more due to the fact that I may now be in a legal battle with Select Comfort and Mary McDuffie.

If there is one thing I have learned from all this, it is that we all should check into companies before giving them our hard earned money just to be scammed!
