i ordered a free sample of the Columbian Green Coffee Extract, paid 5.95 shipping, 10 days later a Recur charge of 89.95showed up on my credit card.

I contacted my bank who contacted the Sensibly Slim company in Provo, UT, and was told that in the original online order I had agreed to a 89.95 monthly membership, although I did not see that in anything when I ordered the "free" sample. They also said that I had a certain number of days to cancel my membership and since I didn't they had charged me the 89.95. i I I told them I did not agree to any membership and did not authorize any charge of 89.95 to my card. They offered me a 50% refund, then they said they would process a 75% refund to my card and not charge anything else to my card.

I had my bank dispute the entire transaction on my card and I'm waiting for the results, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I Agree & I'm Angry

AUTHOR: Jenn - ()

POSTED: Saturday, April 26, 2014

Back in March I was directed to this "company" via Panda Research (ALSO A HUGE RIPOFF). I read all the fine print to ensure i wasn't getting ripped off, and lo and behold! I was! After being charged for the shipping and handling (4.95) I was charged just over a week later for $89.95, yet again from this "company" based in Provo Utah.

I just got off the phone with customer service representative 'Ryan' who tried to insist first of all that it was too bad, (so sad) that I should have read carefully, etc. I did. I read all the fine print. There were NO ToS that informed me of this trial/full charge of $90. He read me the ToS and I told him that it was unacceptable. He tried to offer me 50% and i declined, saying it was unacceptable. He tried to give me 75% and I told him that was unacceptable. I then told him I'd be disputing it with my credit company and reporting them to every business report and reputation/rip off site I could find and he told me that if I returned the product I could get a full refund less the shipping and handling i already paid.

I agreed to that, he gave me the shipping information and I made sure he cancelled my membership. DO NOT SETTLE FOR 50%! Or even 75%! Either dispute it with your CC company or send back the crap and get your full $90 back. Stay clear of Panda Research and ALL affiliates, including this and stages of beauty. Free trials my butt.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered my "free" sample and was charged the same $89.95. I also am awaiting the dispute process from my credit card company.
