I ordered a Christmas gift online from the Sharper Image. I received an order confirmation in my email but after waiting for the package to arrive and it never came I called and they said they had no record of my order so I said I would like to cancel the order but they said they found it had shipped from their vendor and I would have the package soon.


Because I wasn't sure if the package would make it on time for Christmas I decided to order it from somewhere else. Eventually the package from Sharper Image came and I had 2 of the same product and decided to ship the Sharper Image package back. 

In the package from Sharper Image was a return label to affix to the box and instructions how to do so. It said to put one of the labels in the box and one on the outside of the box and to ship via UPS insured package. I followed those exact directions. 

I received a notification from UPS that my item arrived and was signed for on January 5th. I waited a week or so and never saw that credit was issued. I emailed Sharper Image and they said that I was supposed to call for a return authorization. I said, there was nowhere on the instructions for the return to do that so how would I have known to do that.

They said they would have to find where my package was as they have many vendors and that I would be issued credit in 5-7 business days.

After those days passed without credit, I called and emailed again. They said they would escalate my problem to a supervisor. This happened 2 or 3 times. I called again saying I wanted to speak to a supervisor however, there wasn't one in the building and they wouldn't let me hold for one. Again they said they would escalate this to a supervisor. 

It has been a month now and I still have not received credit. So now I am without the product and without my money. 

The Sharper Image appears to be doing nothing to refund my money and the customer service is absolutely terrible. I would never purchase anything from them online again.
