I am so dissatisfied with the company Sheldeez Hair Products and Hair Salon. I ordered Mizani Moisturefuse Moisturizing Conditioner 8 oz., Mizani Conditoning Relaxer Mild 30 oz., Mizani Botanifying Conditioning Shampoo 1 Ltr. Motions FOAMING WRAP LOTION 8 OZ, Mizani Phormula 7 Neutralizing Shampoo 1 liter, Mizani Shyne Hair Spray 9oz on 06/08/2007 08:10:35 and I still haven't received my package...

Now I know that I am overseas in Italy, but before I came over here with my husband, I use to send him packages and they would arrive in 7-10 days via Priority and 3-5 days via Express...

I have called Sheldeez on plenty of occassions and spoken to two different women, Michelle and Jennifer and they both have given me two different answer...My first contact was with Michelle on July 3, 2007. I called into store to confirm that my package was shipped b/c I never received a shipping confirmation email. She stated that my package was being shipped out on that day b/c the relaxer was on back order...I stated that was fine, I understood that, but someone could of emailed me or called me to inform me...

Now on July 19, 2007, I called Sheldeez again to check on the status of my package b/c I still haven't received it and it has been over a month since ordered. I spoke to Jennifer this time and she stated that package was sent out that day...

Now this is when I got frustrated...I stated that I spoken to Michelle at her work place and she stated that my package was sent out on the 3rd, so how do you show today...She stated nobody works there by the name Michelle(which meant I was given a false name) and it is showing in her computer that order was shipped out today...I stated that this is unacceptable and I wanted to speak to the manager. She stated she was the manager and I informed her I wanted to speak to the store manager. She stated he wasn't in. I asked for his name, she refused to give it to me...She stated she didn't know...I asked how she can work for someone if she doesn't know who she works for....

I explained that this company has poor customer service skills b/c if my order was sent out on this date than it should of been sent express b/c I have been waiting for so long. She stated her company don't do that....

I looked online and found out that the owner's name is Arthur Robinson and I found his number online b/c he was going through a lawsuit with Kera Care products. I called his number and found out that it was a cell phone. I called and left messages and continued to call until he picked up the phone.

I informed him who I was and what my concern was. He stated that he is the manager of Sheldeez and he doesn't know why his staff wouldn't give me any information on him and that Jennifer is NOT the manager. He stated that he will check into my situation when he gets back into the store and he will contact me in ONE hour to inform me of the outcome...

Well, one hour went by, no call...So I called him back, he stated that he was going to resend the package via Express Mail and he will call me or email me with the tracking number. Now this was on the 19th of July. He never contacted me that day, but he did in fact email me on the 20th and I quote:

"Tenesha, lost your # call me so that I can explain everything. I have news. Entire package shipping express. Original package shipped minus two items. Package must be missing 30 days before they can investigate. Package shipped yesterday had two remaining items. We have filled out a recall of mail form to have that sent back. We are going to file a claim for the original package. If you receive that one, please call us. We are express shipping the entire package today. I will send you the tracking # in a few hours. I will make up for this. Call me.

Art Robinson"

Now I called Mr. Robinson many of times since this email...I responded with emails of my own and NO response. I never received an email or call with the tracking number. I called him today, July 22, 2007 and he hung up...He emailed me and stated that he lost signal and that package was sent via Express but he don't have the tracking information on him and he will call or email me Monday, July 23, 2007 with that information.

I called FEDEX 800# and spoke with one of their representatives and asked if she can check her system to see if a package is being shipped to my address. I explained that I do not have a tracking number and original shipper states he doesn't have it on him. She checked her system and stated that no package or anything is being shipped to my address....I thanked her for her time and hung up...

I emailed Mr. Robinson again and informed him what FEDEX said...He didn't email me back...I googled his company and found out they have done this to many of different people and they have many customer complaint reports on file with the Better Business Bureau.

I am going into my bank on Tuesday to report FRAUD. I still don't know what other options I have....

Customer service

This sounds very similar to my experience. I ordered color and it took many calls/emails to recieve it. It was a partial order and they credited my card for what they did not send. They did not say the items were discontinued, only out. I would have preferred to wait for them to come in.


That said, they did make sure the items got to me and were appologetic for the slow response. I will order from them, but nothing I need in a hurry. They have good product and the best pricing I have found for what I need. I just wish the customer service was better. I would recommend them inspite of this review.

Taneshia forget We live in a democracy and people excersise "freedom of speech". However, it is clear that you explained your story & I just responded by the postive experience & great customer service that I was provided by Sheldeez. Thanks, but no thanks for ref. to the BBB. I don't bother with calling a company like that for a ref. because it's people like you who can "TRY" and make a company look bad. It appear's that you are in Italy & it's clear that Rome was not built over night. However, things happen & finding out a solution to a problem does not happen over night. Sometimes it takes longer than what we expect. In my opinion you have the "ME" attitude...won't elaborate.

I just responded & found it interested that you would ref. to Mr. Robinsons previous email. I think you should focus more on being happy instead of trying to defame companies. Find time & volunteer or do something constructive.

This will be the last response, my time is valuable & I don't wan't t spend anymore of my time responding to you.

Okay firstly, to Art the owner of Sheldeez, do not state that I was lying...All this is old water under the bridge...I did not in no way lie anywhere in my story...Your company was very unprofessional. You on the other hand, I gave you credit...You were the one who sent my order out, but keep in mind that it took me to put your company in Google search to even get your name. Your employees if that is what you want to call them, wouldn't give me your name....Now I am not saying that your company has a poor reputation. I am saying from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I wouldn't come back to your company nor will I even refer anyone I know to your company. If they find you on their own, then that is their personal business. Not mine.

As far as Dana in China.....Young lady, you don't know me, so you do not have the right to say I was exaggerating b/c I wasn't. I don't have a reason to exaggerate. I told my story and I wanted the internet world to know so I and the other few women that this has happen to won't be the last victims. Now I am very happy that they so called brought your things to you and every thing on your end was good. Glad to know. But as far as for my experience, it wasn't. I order my products through another company now and never had one problem. I receives my products in no more than two weeks at the most.....I buy all my hair supplies and nail supplies online and never had problems. I order from around the world, so I am very familiar with time ranges...But what I waited for Sheldeez was too long...Now you may comment all you like, but do not state that I exaggerat b/c you was not there nor do you know...You wanna defend them, great, go ahead, if I never had a problem with them, I would too, but do not state I exaggerate....Customs didn't have anything to do with order being so long......You want to find more about Sheldeez call BBB or look for them online...They have a poor score and many people has filed complaints with them, so I am not the only one, Ms. Dana....

I was introduced to Sheldeez by a simple google search several years ago after contacting several bulk supplies trying too place an my order from China. Prior to ordering my products on line. I contacted the number provided & basically did a Q&A. I was impressed with their answer's to my questions & decided to give them a try. I ordered my products & was informed that it might take a little longer because they have never shipped to China, but they gave me a date & if I did not recieve it to contact them.

My order was recieved & I have ref. several friends to Sheldeez.com & they have also been impressed with the quality of service. To my knowldege just by word of mouth they have also ref. Sheldeez to other expats in various countries & I have never heard of any problems they have encountered.

I'm sending a response because I ref. Sheldeez to another friend abroad & in doing a little research they came across this complaint lodged by a person in Naples, Italy. We live in a democracy & I'm a firm believer in freedom of speech, but sometimes we can exaggerate our accounts to events as they actually happened.

I was actually in disbelief about the complaintants statements becasue they were detailed & was very organized systematically when I would call & f/u on my order. It's clear if she had any problems in recieving her order that she is abroad & sometimes it could be problems with custom's.

As for myself, I have never had problems with my orders & I reside in China. When I placed my order Sheldeez explained that they could not send to APO; etc. only the U.S. mail.

Once I was in the D.C. area & decided to order & contacted them & they actually brought my order to the hotel. If this is not customer service...especially in this day & age.

Again, I am only a customer expressing my experience when placing orders & ref. Sheldeez to friends & family member's abroad.

Wishing the best to Sheldeez & hope they continue to prosper in the New Year:-)

Where the lies start: I never hung up on her. I explained to her that we service over 3,000 customers per month and at times things happen. I apologized for the shortcoming in customer service and told her that I would investigate and get back to her. She called before I got the info and I explained that I was waiting for the US Postal Service not Federal Express to get back to me.

I found out that a partial shipment had been shipped to her and that the balance of her shipment had been shipped that very day. I told her that we would file a recall of mail form with the US Postal service for the most recent package and would file a claim with the US Postal Service for the prior package. I aked her if the address that she had allowed for express shipping. "US Postal Express Shipping".

She said yes but from everything she's written she must have thought I meant FEDEX. I meant US Postal Express Shipping. A little background with this customer, the shipping address that she provided is an APO or FPO address. Only the US Postal Service can deliver to these addresses. Why she would call FEDEX is beyond me.

Nonetheless I shipped her package personally (my first in five years) and discovered only priority shipping was available. It was shipped and she she should have received it within a week. We haven't received it back.

To the customer please write a retraction. No apology necessary.
