Sold a pair of collectable lamps to them on eBay for $1390.00. They claim dmage to one lamp socket, but shipping box unscathed. Feel hons=estly that they caused to damage  considering the hyper packaging method. Demanded close to $500,00 in "damage" (actually $50.00 at most.)  Shipment was insured FULLY through USPS.

  They refused to file USPS claim or provide repair estimate. Filed a eBay case ahgainst us after attempted extorsion. Have refused to provide email address for eBay communictin piurposes as required by deadline for return.  This would result in their retaining the lamps as well as the full amount of purchase price. Unjust enrichment. No response to provide email address to resolve situation.

Email address strangly omitted from PayPal transaction / documentation.Unprofessional treatment in general. eBay no help even ignoring blatent false damage claim amount. "Protect the Buyer" operating assumption by eBay refuses to recognze the bad history of the site owner (see RipOff Comments) and protecting Seller. Patently unfair practice.

Been on eBay for 18 years, a first major dishonable Buyer in our history, deeply disappointed in Buyer as well as eBay's shallow handling of this matter. Both eBay and PayPal refuse to give us their email address citing "privacy" issues. Buyer knows the sysyem limitations clearly.
