Shop NBC Customer policy should read BUYER BEWARE Mn Internet

SHOP NBC CUSTOMER POLICY SHOULD READ ?BUYER BEWARE? .

On 09/21/06 I ordered an 18K YG textured finish charm bracelet (J196017) by phone from Shop NBC.
I wore it three times in all. The first it fell off on the ground, the second time it caught in my husband's cardigan and came off. The third time I went out to the store. I was gone for about fifteen minutes. NO bracelet when I got home again. It had fallen off again unknown to me. The clasp had to be defective, why else would it keep falling off??.

These bracelets are portrayed on the Shop NBC website as sturdy. I paid around 250 dollars.
They are supposedly on clearance at a great discount and normally retail at 950.00. dollars

My husband bought me this in September for Xmas and so it was around this time I started to wear it. Shop NBC do encourage people to shop Early after all!! I got some consumer advice from the internet. The advice of most consumer agencies was for the customer to try and settle the issue themselves first. So, I rang shopNBC customer service to obtain the Vendor's name and address so I could contact them directly. I found out the name of the Vendor was Orogold, but their address could not be located at this time. Or may I add any time since then.

I e-mailed the President's office on Felsenbast@shopNBC on 01/02/2007. The next day a women from that same office rang me. Sue was of the opinion that I should have assumed that the clasp on the bracelet was defective when it first fell off my arm. This begs the question: Why should I assume products from Shop NBC are defective. I would hardly buy something that I assumed could be defective. What kind of argument is that????

I asked her why she could not give me the location of Orogold . I stated that I had seen some lamps that had been recalled earlier this years for Shop NBC and the vendor's name was put out on their website, so what was the problem this time with giving out the Vendor's name for the bracelet. ?Some do Some don't? she said.

She also said very assuredly, I might add,? that these lamps (petunia torchiere, iris torchiere, rose torchiere etc) were the only items that were EVER RECALLED FROM SHOP NBC IN FIFTEEN YEARS?.

I sent a second e-mail to Felsenbast@shopNBC on 01/04/07 outlining Sue's remarks. I can't
call it Customer information now. Can I?. Mr. Felsenbast chooses not to respond however. He obviously feels the matter is settled . Well, it is not settled with me.Mr. Felsenba
