Shoppie Unlimited Sirenstore Sent Hair Brush to European Addr without CE Certification and cannot clear. Additional Unauthorized Visa debit 11 weeks after purchase .. San Diego California

On the 4th August I placed an order with Shoppie Unlimited for an Electric straightening hairbrush.

At the beginning of September, I received a notice from our local postal Authority in Malta, Maltapost, that a parcel had arrived for me but I needed to have CE Certification to retrieve the item or it will be sent back after  one month.

I emailed Shoppie Unlimited for this certification but after some days elapsed and received no response except for the immediate automatic acknowledgement saying they would respond within 24/48 hours, I made my first phone call to Shoppie.  I was assured that "upper management" would respond to me within 24 hours.

Days passed, and in the end I finished making 6 expensive phone calls to no avail.

I sent in an email after the month elapsed from the notification of Maltapost asking them that since the item was being sent back by the authorities, I wanted a refund of the $48.85 which I had paid for the brush that I never got and which they know very well that such goods without CE certification cannot enter Europe.

I received an automated reply requesting me to call them. Having been through this already, I refused to make more expensive phone calls.

To add insult to injury I have today discovered that on the 23rd October, my credit Card was again debited by Sirenstore (who are also Shoppie Unlimited) by the amount of $8.95 without my authorization and for no apparent reason!

I have now sent them an email that I am going to my bankers to recover all monies that are due to me by this SCAM company.
