ShoppingCardStore/Lakeland Toyota Rip-off. There has to be a law Lakeland, Florida

The same thing happened to me.  I got a flyer in the mail from Lakeland Toyota stating that I was a finalist in a contest.  Top prize:  $25,871; 2nd prize: Large screen TV; the next three prizes where as follows:  IPod, $300 debit card, $150.00 in cash.  Even though my friends said it was a joke, I went.  I believe that Lakeland Toyota was a reputable company and although I had a winning number, I probably end up with the last prize which at this time of the year is really great.  To my horror, there was an extremely large amount of people there, all holding these flyers.  Wow!

A salesperson came over to me and stated "We need to get you registered".  "For what, I answered, I have a flyer with my name on it, stating I won a prize".  "He said so that they could see which prize I won".  "OK".  We sat down and he asked me questions regarding my car.  I told him "I had no intentions of buying a new car".  So he left to get me my prize.  I am still seeing all these people talking to salesman and everything.  He comes back stating that I had won a $300.00 debit card.  Good grief, I never expected that.  "Oh by the way, this card is only redemable at the Internet store?" 

This store goes by two different names:  "select your gift' and "shopping card store".  This store has nothing worth $10.00 must less $300.  You have to pay shipping and handling and Oh yes a $5.00 processing fee.

Lakeland toyota should know better.  I understand that they do give out prizes but this flyer is misleading and unfair.  Can they not stop this?  What about it Polk County?
