My wife and I bought a vehicle Saturday from showcase auto sales llc. Before going on a test drive we noticed the tires were low so we stopped at the service garage and they supposedly inflated the tires while my wife and I waited in the vehicle. On the test drive the vehicle ran smooth and while out, I asked the person on the test drive if it had the original motor because it had 218,0000 miles on it. He told yes it did. When we got back to the dealership and got out of the vehicle my wife noticed a slight burning smell of oil. We had their "head mechanic" look at it and he said it had a small leak in the valve cover gasket and that he topped it off with oil. A valve cover gasket was an easy fix so we went ahead with the purchased the vehicle. The next morning I took it over to my mechanic. He told me there was a hole in the valve cover and the motor was leaking oil everywhere. Then he asked if I knew that the vehicle had a junk yard motor in it. I said no they told me it had the original motor. He then showed me the junk yard marking in the side of the motor. When my mechanic went to air up the tires properly he noticed the tire rims were also from the junk yard. One he put on a different tire and properly inflated them, now the traction control module kicks in and the vehicle doesn't go above 50 mph.

This company will tell you anything to sell you a vehicle , they flat out lied to my wife and I about the vehicle and by doing that constitutes FRAUD. Now I know the owner is going to come on here and say "as is" is as is, but when you specifically ask about a problem and they flat out lie....that is fraud. Just to mention, I contacted the sales person regarding this the next day they were open after buying the vehicle with my complaint and he told me he needed to talk to the owner and he would be in touch within the hour. One hour later a manager calls me and I have to re-explain to him and he tells me the owner is out of town and is waiting to hear back from him, that was at 11 am. The entire day goes by and no phone call. I guess being accused of fraud is not worth the owners time. I know based on a previous report on here the owner is going to come on her and try to slam me, but keep this in mind, he didn't even have the B**** to talk to me personally.

Hey Einstein or Jim, John or Joe whatever your name

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (USA)

It's amazing how I'm noticing your name come up on other rip off reports and yet don't want to be acknowledged as being associated with this business. FYI: a person won't claim fraud on an honest and respectable company. I work in health care and I'm asked by people all the time if they can be seen even though they have insurance we don't accept. I have to say unfortunately we are not able to see them knowing they have insurance and they need to contact a doctor in their network. It would be considered fraud if we did. Same thing here. Nik irland should have informed the customer that there was an issue, that they resolve it and the could finalize the contract when that was complete. Doesn't seem he took that route. Maybe the owner of this sad company should get the guts to call the customer.

I didn't defraud anyone

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, April 06, 2016

NICK IRLAND at Showcase Auto Sales, LLC tried to defraud the credit union for membership into the credit union not a loan application.   NICK IRLAND told me he did it afterward and I reported it to the credit union.  I don't want to scam anyone....if SHOWCASE AUTO SALES LLC would not have committed fraud at several levels, I would have happily updated my information for the credit union and all would have been good.   The credit union was very happy to hear from me right away.

By the way,  there is still more coming when the State of Michigan contacts them.

Guess Again

POSTED: Wednesday, April 06, 2016

I talked with the credit union and it was for membership that they needed the information and you have to be a member to get a loan.  I told them I will not update my information and they told me they couldn't approve the loan then.  They are notifying the dealership immediately...

They also owe me $415 for the work done.  I would love for all the fraud they have committed to come out in court.....CAN"T WAIT

And John, man behind the computer,

CHECKMATE!

You exercised poor judgment

Purchasing a vehicle with an obvious oil leak was a foolhardy decision.

The sales rep may not have known that the vehicle did not have the original engine and the mechanic could have made an error or was possibly incompetent. It’s fraud if the dealer knowingly provided false information. You have no way of knowing (or proving) they lied.

Tell us about the fraud committed with the credit union.

Right On Target!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 05, 2016

You can always tell when a rebuttal is right on target. The complainer who initially posted cannot come up with their own intelligent rebuttal, so it's the old "you must work for them" routine! Of course, their story gets expanded upon too as in this case, now it's an alleged case of defrauding the lender! Guess what Einstein, if you signed the credit application, by so doing YOU affirmed the information contained therein is true! It looks like what you're also admitting to is going along with defrauding the lender! How nice!

Big man behind a computer.....

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 05, 2016

Hey chicken little...sit behind your computer and hide like the snake you are....the person who showed us the car and your POS mechanic both outright lied that is fraud. Not to mention your salesperson who submitted out application credit application committed fraud with the credit union. I have already alerted them. You should have worked this out. Everyone notice the way this guy attacks it's customers.....they have lied and defrauded a credit union by faxing false documentation to them. I have the proof and am taking to the credit union.

Lets See Here...

You take this tired, old car on a test drive and notice problems with an oil leak...a potentially expensive problem depending upon where the leak is.  You did not mention you received a warranty so one must assume this was an "AS IS" sale.  Instead of being a SMART CONSUMER and passing this thing up, you go ahead and by an "AS IS" car with an oil leak!!!  To top things off, doubly incredible is the FACT you decided to have this car checked out by your own mechanic AFTER you buy it!  I'll tell you what...man am I ever impressed!

NO RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer buys car with problems they detected during the test drive and accepts it.  Buyer also fails to use common sense by having their own mechanic check out car BEFORE the purchase!
