I was at the Boston Bruins game and was scammed like you read about.  This smooth talking jerk worked my tw, young kids over asking them if they wantd to go to the wolf lodge which is an indoor water park. He tells them if I buy this vacation package we can go there tomorrow if we wanted too, The only reason why I listened to his pitch was because I have been wanting to take my kids there.

Two other mother's got sucked into the pitch the same way while I was listening and this guy and his coworkers. His story was that they are looking to book rooms and make money during the week at there down time. He also said if I purchase this vacation he will give me a $40 visa card to buy my kids something at the game that day.

First lie- when i pulled the visa card out to activate it, I couldn't.  You can't activate the card until you book a vacation.

Second lie- I told this guy I would only buy the package to go to the Wolf lodge that was accessable by my car.  He said that was no problem and I may have to wait a while but I had 18 months to book it.  More info came in the mail a week later, it entailed 7 vacation spots i could pick, however the only wolf lodge was in Centerville Texas!!   I live north of Boston, Mass. Out of the 7 vacations 5 were in Texas, one in Chicago and one was accessable by car and that was to the Berkshires. Now, if you have kids, the Berkshires is not somewhere young children and parents want to go, it's pretty but that is about it.

Third lie-I only have 30 days to call to book my vacation where this jerk off told me i had 18 months.

Fourth lie- not once did this guy tell me I  was on the hook to a time share  pitch, never said a thing, but when I called to find available dates  I had to first take three hours out of my time to sit and listen to a pitch for time sharing in areas I have not desire to travel too, I can then call the day after that nightmare and book a vacation to an area that is  pretty, but not a dam thing to do.  They even sent me a letter saying I was qualified for a $22,000.00 loan to purchase the vacation package.

fifth lie-  I have to pay a fee in order to use the voucher to book my 2 day vacation that has to be tuesday-thursday and nothing is included in the $140 i paid for except a scam of a company harrassing my life.

I am not a naive person, but this guy could have sold me a ketchup lolli-pop while I was wearing white gloves.  To think I myself and two other moms thought this guy was nice, personable and sincere, he was laughing at us suckers so he could make what?  a couple hundred dollars. Well I believe in Karma and I also believe that is something sounds too good to be true, it is.

So I am out $140, don't trust fast talking italian guys, and have a visa debit card that is useless. My husband got to say the famous last words  "I told you it was a scam."
