Simple Escapes Fraudulent billing made on Debit Card victimized many consumers E. Wenatchee Washington

I had went online tonight to go check my balance in my checking account because I will be going on a trip this weekend out of town... Low and behold there is a charge of $134.95 billed on 2/18/2003 on my debit card. To my amazement...

I never even heard of Simple Escapes... from this point on, I will never forget that companys name. Besides not even knowing what in the world I had charged my debit card for that type of amount, I called my Visa card to find out more info.

I even did a little research on them myself, found very insightful websites about this "Simple Escapes" company, literally being scandelous and charging innocent bystanders a fee for their membership. The phone number that my CC company gave me was literally relentless.. just a machine, and nothing more.

I went ahead and cancelled my debit card, and called the local authorities to receive a case number... I really hope it resolves this charge and the people that are behind "Simple Escapes" will be in jail where they belong so they can't harm other's bank accounts!
