Simple Solutions is a very aggressively marketed answerering and scheduling service targeting home inspectors . After months of emails promising free set up and first month free etc etc, my cedit card was charged for suix weeks of service I never even received . They refused to return my money and even had the gall to keep marketing to me , pretty slick sounding gal but Buyer Beware. She does not not deliver as promised and doesnt even list her company address on her agreements.

Please save your hard earned money and stay away from this gal jamie Ward and her entire rip off operation.

Why won't you juust be honest ?

Its well know that all of the call centers specializing in home inspection companies bill at the beginning of the next month for the month prior . The reason for this is easy, you don't know how much to charge until the end of the month because its per inspection. This fact is most easily checked out by anyone just by calling a few companies and asking .

Your master services agreement I have pasted below clearly states "Your monthly fee will be ran on the date every month this document was signed" and says nothing about a month in advance .

Your agreement either does not mention anything about charging a month in advance or is written in a manner to be intentionally misleading . Either way , your company which was only started in 2011 has very poor business practices .

Your agressive marketing promised free set up and then you you charged in advance , shame on you !

Master Services Agreement


This master services agreement

the terms and conditions for the products and services you have ordered from

Simple Solutions.


Scope and Pricing.  This agreement applies to all the

services you have ordered from Simple Solutions. The following is a list of the

services you are being provided and constitutes a binding agreement between Simple

Solutions and you. Simple Solutions may need to amend the pricing in response

to changes that materially changes and technical feasibility or the economics

of providing service. Simple Solutions will notify you when exercising this

right, after which you will have 30 days to terminate the service or

renegotiate a new agreement. If you do not respond in writing within 30 days to

Simple Solutions you waive your right to refute the amended pricing structure.

Service Level. Simple Solutions will provide personnel to answer and schedule appointments from the

hours of 8am 7pm Monday-Friday EST and 8am-3pm Saturdays EST. We will be

staffed to answer the phones during the above mentioned times; however, there

will be peak times volumes, some calls may be answered by our voicemail system.

In those cases all calls will be returned within 10 minutes of receiving them.


Credit Approvals and Billing. This agreement to provide service is contingent on your

initial and continued credit approval, and you agree that we may conduct a

credit check to the extent permitted by applicable law. Simple Solutions will

automatically run the credit card we have on file for your company on the 1st

of each month for per booked inspection fees. 

Your monthly fee will be ran on the date every month this document was

signed. If your card declines, you may be assessed an additional $25 per day

until the card clears the charges. Adjustments for billing errors will be

limited to 30 days after the date the billing error took place.


Termination. Either party may terminate this agreement for cause in the even of a material reach by

(a) written notice within 30 days specifying the cause of termination and (b)

if the other party does not cure the material breach within 30 days of written


Notices. Notices required by this agreement must be sent in writing to Simple Solutions 6814 N

Denton Ct, McCordsville, IN 46055

Assignments. You may not assign the agreement without the express written consent of Simple

Solutions, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.


Amendments. Customer

may not amend this agreement unless such amendments are in writing and signed

by Simple Solutions.  

Governing Law. The

laws of the state in which service is provided shall govern this agreement or,

if service in multiple states is being provided, the state of Simple Solutions



Arbitration. Any claim arising out of this agreement will be reviewed. All claims will be

settled for no more than $500.


Entire Agreement. This agreement comprises the understanding between you and Simple

Solutions and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements, representations

or understanding.


Severability. If

any provision of this agreement is held to be unenforceable, all other

provision remain valid.


Term Length. The

initial term of this agreement is for 3 months or 90 days, after which the

contract will be on a month to month basis. The pricing reflected in this

contract are for a trial period of a full 3 months from the signature date. At

the end of 3 months time, prices will reflect our normal pricing structure of

$169 per month and $20 per booked inspection.

Thank you for posting this. In my contract that I sent to you, it clearly states that the monthly fees are charged in advance of the month and all booking fees are charged after the inspections are completed.
In the emails that you posted you can see that I was working diligently to gather information from you, I had set up the phone system, voicemail, provided you lists and links. If you do the work for an inspection, do you do that work for free??
Obviously you have not used a professional call center before, because I can assure you that they all pretty much bill the same way.
You failed to mention that you left me hanging for weeks without providing me any information or returning my calls. After that you sent an email saying that you "heard bad things about me". I again tried to contact you, but my calls went unanswered.
I am curious, you wanted to make this public, why not provide your REAL name or where you are from? Its only fair that if you are dragging my company name through the mud. Also, why didn't you use the upload document button for your last rebuttal? Its easy to manipulate the files if you just type them in I guess.
I have worked with thousands of inspectors across the United States and Canada. Never have I had anyone dissatisfied with the services I provide.
If you had no intention on using a call center, you could have saved the money and my time, and not signed up for the service. Since you did sign up and I did work to help you, there were fees charged to you. That's it, plain and simple. Not sure too many people would argue with that business structure. Work = pay.

Real Facts Backed Up By Real Emails

On 10/24/11 I had not signed up with your company yet as referenced by the following emails . The following emails show my utter surprise at being charged in advance and you had only requested my info i week prior . There is no excuse for your aggressive charging of credit cards as shown in the emails below . I have many more emails as well that illustrate the ever changing price structure and constant promise of first month free .    


I wanted to check in with you to see if your ISN has been updated yet. I know you were working on it last week and I wanted to make sure the information in there is accurate. I will be sending you an email shortly with a list of information I need from you.

I will also be sending you all of your account information ( i.e, links). Please let me know where you are with the update, so that we can move forward.

Please make sure you get me this information as soon as possible.

Only one week later ( not six like you claim) you charged my card in advance and refused to correct it . I was unwilling to deal any further with a company such as yours afterwards . The first few of many emails are below . This was after you had promised free setup


In the email responded to, you have a setup fee of $125.00 but I was charged $177.44 ? I know I haven't finished up setting things up with you but that's because ISN keeps promising me they will add pricing for additional bedrooms and bathrooms this week, I was just charged $169.00 by you for monthly service ?

Please refund the $177.44 and the $169,99 and put through a charge for $125.00 today .Please don't add any additional charges through my account without my approval first.

As you see from this email , I was ripped off from the first charge and requested a refund , not that you were waiting for info 


I emailed you early this morning about a billing error needing correction but hadn't heard back from you so i called and left a message but still no return call. Is everything okay, ?

Thank you for being patient and I apologize for my delay in getting back to you on this matter. I have been out of the office and have just returned to a lot of emails and voicemails. (Love that) 

Ok to clear this up for you. The $125 was charged as the set up fee. Upon signing up the monthly fee always goes into effect, it is billed for the current month. Since you signed up in the middle of the month your rate was pro-rated which equaled the $177.44 charge.  In the beginning of November is when your monthly fee and any booked inspection fees will be charged. Since we havent booked any yet for you, there was just the monthly fee.  

The fees are in place to make sure that once people sign up for service they follow through and get activated as quickly as possible. I understand that you are dealing with ISN and have to wait for them to set things up for you. I still am offering to help any way I can to speed the process for you. I sent you an email with a list of items I would need from you, do you have the list together? If I can get that information I can work with Stephanie to get the ball rolling a little faster for you.

If there is anything else I can assist with please let me know. We are 90% set up on our end, phone number is active and voicemail is set up, staff has been trained, and the media files have been set up for you.

I am quite surprised to hear you charge for the upcoming months answering in advance . I have been with three other call centers over the years.. This is the very first time anyone has ever charged a month in advance . I just went over the billing and other paperwork I received from you but found no mention of an advance anywhere at all , please make the corrections I asked for.

Basic bottom line is I was ripped off by Jamie Ward who charges in advance for service without listing that on any of her paperwork which I will be glad to post next . I could never do buisness with or have someone answering my phones and scheduling my appointments that I simply could not trust, plain and simple . How could you trust your livelyhood to a thief ?

I think my title says it all. If we don't have all the information we need to effectively help your customers, we can't go live. I love working for Simple Solutions and I can assure you that Ms. Ward is no scam artist or I wouldn't work for her. The clients I deal with on a daily basis have told me how helpful Ms. Ward and myself are. But, we can only be helpful if we have the information we need to do so.

Hmm- You Even Admit To Never Going Live

Thanks for the rebuttal but in your response, you even admit to never going live with answering my phones? The service was for answering the phones and scheduling appointments, both of which were never ever done for my company. In my 18 years in the business I have never been charged in advance for a service never provided. Every other call center charges at the end of the month but your operation did so at the beginning, I wonder why.

If you are so legitimate and admit to never answering my calls and to offering free setup, the least you could have done and still should do is refund my money like I have been asking for on a weekly basis by phone and email and will continue to do until my money is refunded.

Im sorry if you have had a negative experience with my company. Let me clear some of your confusion though. First of all my marketing was for 1 week free of service. This was awarded to you when you signed up and returned a contract to me, that clearly listed the terms of the agreement and my company address, in case you missed it, Po Box 325 McCordsville, IN 46055.  
I then spent time and money setting up your company on our phone system and our computer systems within the call center.  The entire time I tried to reach you for weeks through emails and phone calls to both and your wife to gather more information that we needed to go live. I was continually told that you would be sending the information to me right away. 
After 6 weeks of back and forth, you sent me an email saying that you decided to not move forward. This was fine and I have not charged you since you cancelled, even though my contract states 30 day notice. 

I provide an excellent service to all of my clients and have never had a negative report against me. 

I have responded to every email you have ever sent me, and every call you have ever made. I am not a scam operation and I don't appreciate you stating that I am.
