Sims Associates possibly, LVNV, Resergent, Sherman ABUSIVE COLLECTION AGENCY EDINA Maine

I have received calls from this company 2 times a day at home and on my cell for 2 weeks. When i finally spoke with them they said that my family owed 2500.00 on account that was "charged off" in 2006. I asked them for proof of the debt from the original creditor, which they said was wash mu and they said that I have been unresponsive to any letters thus far. I told them that i have never received letters from their company, and they insisted that i had. I also asked how they had my cell phone number linked to my house number when my cell phone number is not even in my name. I made a claim of harrassment with the BBB on them already and their partner company. They need to back off and follow the law, and show the proof of that the consumer is asking for.
