Complaint Description:
i have had my domain, www.dailylifeministry.com registered through this company since 2004. the fees have always been once a year and this year they withdrew fees out of my checking account, which is normal but then a couple months later they withdrew 240 dollars again which is way higher then ever before not counting that they took fees 2 months prior. i sent them an email and said something is wrong, explain these charges and take my debit card number out of your system and i got no response to that request. so i sent this request again 4 times in 3 days and still no response. so the next day, which was the fourth day i sent an email and said i was going to report this charge to my bank as theft and fraudulent if i didn't have a response in 24 hours and they shut my site down immediately with no response or warning. i contacted them by email again and said i needed this site back on as it shut down all my emails and they responded to this and said i had to agree in writing to authorize the 240 charge without any explanation of the fees. i was out of my office holding meetings and desperate at that time so i agreed and since then i have been trying to contact them to give me two responses. 1. what are all the charges they took out of my account in 2009 for and 2. i want my domain unlocked so i can go to a different hosting company. they will not respond. i have sent them 20 + emails and left numerous messages on their phone number. all i want is to be able to have my domain released to take it to a different hosting company. i don't care about the funds anymore just release my domain name and quit holding my ministry hostage to their unethical business practices. i have over 2000 email contacts that would be effected if i had to give up my domain name and start a new one. thank you Pastor Rick Walth

AUTHOR: rick - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, May 20, 2010

This is Pastor Rick Walth.  I now have communication with Siteleaders.com and they have agreed to allow me to move my domain to a different hosting company and for that I am very grateful.

I am retracting this complaint about siteleaders.com/connectdomain.com at this time.

I would be grateful if the site manager of this site would take this orginal complaint down off this site.

Thank you
