Six Channels, Sales Browser, Keith Miller, Kevin Hunter, Steve Mathew Very shady - beware! Supposedly Houston Texas

Thankfully we didn't spend any money with this company but they keep contacting us, trying to solicit business.

Sourcing information from the web is not easy and I give most businesses the benefit of the doubt, but Six Channels set off all kinds of alarm bells. For one thing, emails obviously written by someone with a very poor command of the English language (i.e. not a native speaker) and signed with names like Keith Miller, Kevin Hunter and Steve Mathew, simply didn't add up.

I called the company to get more information and someone at the other end answered with "hello" (no company name) and then fell all over herself to say yes, this was indeed Six Channels (sounded like a call centre). She passed me through to "Kevin Hunter" who was so obviously not American and who answered very hesitantly "ummm, Houston, Texas?" when I asked where he was located that I knew this was not a legitimate set-up. He took my request for counts and quotes and said I would be contacted. I never heard from anyone. Head Office, however, continues to get emails from a Steve Mathew who seems to alternate between using an email address from Six Channels as well as one from "Sales Browser."

If this company cannot be up front about where they are located and who they are, how can you trust it period? I searched the name and found the other comments on it. There are many other legitimate email marketing companies out there. We ended up using a good one out of California and another from the UK. It's worth calling a toll-free line and researching a company before investing your money.
