The owner of Skin Perfect, Phyllis Gasparri, continues to harass me through email.

I was constantly getting spam emails from Skin Perfect, and I had asked numerous times to be taken off the list. Not only was she continuing to send me emails, but she sent one with a picture of a STRIPPER on it- which I opened while at work. It was disgusting. So I responded telling her that I asked to be taken off these emails and I do not want pornography being sent to me- while I'm at WORK! I find this extremely unprofessional, and rude... and then she responded, calling me an ugly person on the inside and out. She has never seen me in her life. This woman is horrible and I will never go to Skin Perfect!!

She also copied my email address to everyone on her list- about 100 people or so- and now they continue to harass and send me emails as well. She referred to me as "jealous"... I don't think she knows the meaning of the word jealous. I am disgusted and annoyed- I am not jealous of a woman who harasses people she doesn't even know. Ugh I would never go there!

Dear Alyssa,  Your recent post dated January 4, 2013 on the Ripoff website, discussing your original post from 4 years ago has been brought to my attention today. In this latest post you attached a copy of an email, that allegedly came from me. When I clicked that image I was quite shocked.

First and foremost I do not talk like that, more importantly, I would NEVER send an email to someone complaining about me or my business. I pride myself in my customer relations and my motto is the customer is always right.  I have a 100% Satisfied Guarantee and can offer 100s of references to back up my claims.  When you first posted your complaint in 2008 I was shocked and all I could do was state it was untrue and it must be a complaint from a competitor as this sort of thing is known to happen. I was not aware you received an email response from me personally. How I wish you would have let me know for I then could have advised you of my email problems with AOL.  My AOL email account was compromised and I was forced to change it.

Clients that received phony emails from me brought them to my attention and I quickly resolved the issue advising the emails were NOT from me, but someone who somehow stole my email account. I then gave out my new email address. The email you received that looked like it came from me, actually came from someone else. If you would have brought it to my attention 4 years ago when you FIRST received that email I could have let you know it was NOT from me.

I can understand your anger, truly I can. For receiving such an email is definitely unprofessional to say the least. But please understand the email you received did NOT come from me.  In this day of technology so many misunderstandings are occurring. So many of us have been subject to stolen identity, stolen email addresses and wrongful posts. All we can do is defend ourselves. Of course we first must be aware of what is going on. Those clients that received weird emails from my account thought something wrong right away and called me.

Thankfully, when they did it allowed me to know about my stolen email account.  All I can say is I am very sorry you received such a hateful response to your post and whoever that person was that sent it to you is just someone who gets pleasure in stealing email accounts and making trouble. I hope you accept my apology for the misunderstanding and we can somehow salvage our relationship or at the very least part company with the understanding that we had a very horrible misunderstanding.

I wrote this 4 years ago...still have the original email

ok well this was 4 years ago and I apologize as maybe the original email may have been a misunderstanding... I had gotten an email with an image of what LOOKED LIKE a stripper, and behind her a mirror with the reflection of the person taking the photo, along with awful tacky pink graphics- I honestly thought it was an email from a stripper.  And I got the email so many times... and the CC contained email addresses of all of her customers. I still have the original email.

My response back was professional- simply giving advice about how to send professional- looking emails or at least tone it down a bit! And also to remove my email address.

This was the response back (copied and pasted)

Dear Jealous Thing That is a very famous Model, Who By the way is my would never be allowed to see me.
I will inform My secretary to never send an email to you I am sure you are a very Ugly person inside as well as outside.
Good luck with your life Jealous One

If I simply got a kind professional response back, I would never have written this report. This woman may do fine work at her occupation, but she has a lesson or two to learn about customer service, professional appearance, and marketing. Hopefully in the last 4 years she has improved her ways.

Moronic Untrue Review

What a moronic review!  I've been going to SkinPerfect for 6 years and have had great results.  I recommend Phyllis to all my friends who love her too.  Who in their right mind would take the time to slander a person they've never met and a business they've never been to?  How on earth would the writer know who was spamming them?  Must be listening to the voices in their head!  I have always felt that Ripoff Report was better than this- why would you ever post such obviously untrue garbage?

I Beg To Differ With This Complaint- SKIN PERFECT Is Wonderful!

I used to travel to Manhattan for treatments until I found out about SkinPerfect here on the island. I get better results from Phyllis'treatments  then I did with the doctors in the city and Phyllis is at keast as professional (if not more so) than they were. She is also a lovely and caring person who will always give you her best.

Review UNTRUE- Phyllis is AMAZING!!!

My daughter inherited cystic acne from my ex husbands family and it made her miserable. We made numerous trips to the dermatologist who prescribed an assortment of expensive medications not covered by insurance which did not help her. After spending almost $1,100 on this garbage it finally dawned on me to take her to Skin Perfect where I have been going for years. Phyllis performed a variety of treatments (chemical peel, specialty facials, microdermabrasion  and laser peels) and recommended some products which my daughter used religiously AND IT WORKED!!! No more breakouts and the laser peels got rid of the scarring that was so upsetting.  My daughter is ecstatic and we have sent her friends to Phyllis who was able to help them as well.  Whoever wrote that ludicrous review in which she stated that she had never even met Phyllis let alone have been given any of Skin Perfects treatments is clearly out of her mind and should find a better way to use her time than slander a truly lovely person

That complaint sounds completely ridiculous.....I've been using Skin Perfect of the past few months and find Phyliss Gasparri to be Totally Professional.  The treatments i've had really cleared up the problem areas, i also like using Her skin products...... I've recommended Skin Perfect to numerous people.

This claim is absolutely baseless

I have been a customer of Skin Perfect since the day it started. The products are fantastic and the owner, Phyllis Gasparri is professional. I see where this report is dated from 2008 and it is completely false and should be taken down from the internet.  Skin Perfect is there to help people. When ones competition hides behind falsehoods it makes running a business difficult. Hopefully those future customers will read the numerous GREAT compliments that Skin Perfect and Ms. Gasparri have received over the years and they will ignor the false complaint from 2008.

I can't believe Rip Off Report would post something so obviously false! My wife and I have been clients of Skin Perfect for years and I can not see in a million years Phyllis doing any of the garbage this person accuses her of. Phyllis is a professional businesswoman with a busy practice and the idea of her spamming, and getting  '100 friends' to spam this wacko is absurd. The person who filed this complaint needs to get back to Fantasy Island where she belongs!

I LOVE Skin Perfect- Is This Person Nuts?

What on earth is this complaint FROM 2008 talking about? I have been a client of Skin Perfect for 18 years and have never had anything but  good experiences there. Over the years many of my friends have also become clients of Phyllis' and they rave about her and her treatments. Phyllis is extremely knowledgeable and I find her highly professional. She never promises something that she can't deliver(unlike other medical spas and ethesticians I could name)
