This national collection agency has continued to try to collect on a bill that had already been paid. Records of payment by check are listed as "Accurate Recover" but include the agency telephone number, of s****.> After the first two months of phone calls and nasty collection letters, it appearred the company was just a victim of incompetent staff members. But after two months of phone calls from multiple staff members who stated the same tactics, such as you paid the company, not the collection agency and will have to pay US.. as well as proof of payment being intentionally not filed when sent on multiple occassions. It now appears the company policy is to collect multiple times on each debt. Harassment, after the bill is paid and proof is made available to the company, only increases with the frustration of the payee. The callers will accept your proof of payment by mail, fax etc. only to have another caller, totally ignorant of previous phone calls call you again within two days of the arrangements settled via telephone and proof of payment.
