SKS ASSOCIATES NORTHERN LEASING I leased equipment from Northern Leasing credit card processing and satisfactorily closed my account in 2008.. Ive had no communication with them since. I received a mailed letter dated 2/21/20 NEW YORK, New York

 I leased equipmentfrom  Northern Leasing credit cardprocessing and satisfactorily closed my account in 2008..   I’ve had no communication with themsince.  I received a mailed  letter dated 2/21/2011 on 3/7/2011  regarding their purchase of leases owned byNorthern Leasing Systems.  They said theyhad conducted an audit and determined taxes were not collected or they may have been undercollected  for my equipment lease.   They further stated that I wasrequired to pay all taxes and filing costs pertaining to the equipment leasefrom Northern Leasing in the amount of $91.64.  They said “ In order to collect the amount owed under the lease, weintend to debit your account on or about 3/4/2011.” My account  was debited  3/4/2011. This is to be the same scenario as everyone else reporting.   The latenessof the communication seems also to be standard procedure.Part of the scam is to send the notices out late so you have no chance to stop payment or discuss it.  How can they debit after account has been closed?  Did Northern also sell the rights to debit my account?  Have the taxes been paid to the City Treasurer?  I believe they were included in my payment to Northern  The similarity of all of the cases make me believe that there would be a certain amount of attention give to a group with the very same issues…if anyone would like to be in contact with me or perhaps the gentlemen who is trying to do a “class action suit”
