On Friday May 18th, my boyfriend and I were supposed to go skydiving. The weather was not in accordance with standards. We had rescheduled for 1:00 pm on saturday May 26th at 1:00 pm. We called that morning to double check to see if they still had us scheduled, and they said to come in. They were busy that day and told us it would be a 2-3 hour wait.

Understanding, my boyfriend and I were told we should go get food or do something to occupy the time it would take to wait. At 3:30 we came back to the location and specifically asked if they were 100% positive that we would jump on that day. 2 associates and a manager said "Yes as long as weather permits". We were then told it would be at least another 2 hour wait and we were sent off to kill time again.

At 6:30 we recieved a phone call that we were not going to be able to jump because they ran out of time and booked too many appointments that day. We wasted time off from work, spent money waiting, and gas money to get there. They did not apologize for the issue, offered to refund us our money, etc. but instead hung up the phone on us. Not only did my boyfriend pay to skydive but I funded the money for a video to be recorded as well. The charges on our accounts are non-refundable, which is understandable for cancellations or problems caused by a customer but this misleading issue was caused by the business themselves.

I demand a refund for the money we wasted. If there was any doubt about us not making our jump that day, even the slightest bit, we should have been told prior to the closing time. The one employee told us that we were the last scheduled jumpers for the day however other customers came in hours behind us to fillout the necessary paperwork. Now because of the low level of professionalism this company obtains, I do not trust thier practices and do not want to give them my business. They were of no assistance and told me they do not have the capabilities to offer me a refund. The credit card machine was like any other, and they could have punched a negative amount in and it would have worked. Bottom line is, I do not have time to reschedule again and this problem was due to thier poor management, my pockets should not have to suffer because of that.
