We bought our Skyline home in 2004 and immediately started having issues with leaking windows and doors. Skyline sent out a fix it man who drilled out our weep holes for better drainage, but he made the issue worse when he drilled all 28 windows in my home down into the window seals. They also have replaced my back door twice.
My windows and doors continued to leak due to poor installation on Skyline's part, manufacturer defects (4 windows) on Kinro Window's part, and into my walls on the fix it man's part. Skyline has been dragging their feet to repair our home from day one and now my home is filled with toxic mold. We can't afford to move out, and our air quality is getting poorer by the day.
We have called Skyline's corporate offices and spoken with their CEO. We invited him to dinner in our mold infested home. So far, we haven't received a response. Skyline insists they can piece and patch my $85,000 home back together. We have mold growing on our furniture, and everything is ruined.
Skyline is supposed to be the best builder of mobile homes. They can't prove that by our experience. Their customer service is terrible. Their employees are rude (calling our issue an "inconvenience"), and the quality of their product is terrible. Skyline simply does not seem to care about our quality of life and the quality of our home. This has been going on for 3 years. No one from Skyline has even said they are sorry for all we are going through.

Sounds like you have a A/C issue aand you are blaming the home. I have a Skyline Home built in Ocala. It is the best home I have ever owned. I have the double pane Kenro windows. I love them they get pelted by rain in tropical weather and dont leak a drop of water. The home is very dry and very energy effecent. The lowest electric billes I have ever had. I had issues with the home went we got it but the factory fixed everything. I am very happy with this company and there service. No mold any where here and we keep the temp at 73 our high bill is 130.00.. The home is very quiet and very well built. We had it custom built for us....
