On January 9, 2007 we made rental arrangements to Sleepy Bear Cabins, on January 11, 2007 the money came out under the name Lumber Jack Cabin rentals. When checking the web site I noticed the reservation calenders were missing from the site.
Then on February 15th our deposit of $580.35 was deposited back into our account under Sleepy Bear Cabin Rentals. At that Time I tried to call Sleepy Bear to find out why and the message said the mailbox was full, this was on Friday the 15th. I then tried to call all the next week and the recording said the number was temporarily disconnected.
On Thursday February 22nd the money was taken back out of our account by Sleepy Bear Cabin rentals in the amount of $580.35. We still can't get anyone by email or phone, everything has been disconnected!!!!
We only wanted to take a family vacation with myself, my husband and our two children ages 3 and 8. What a Headache!!!!

The company you was talking about was under investigation for unpaid taxes,probally why they changed there name but from what I understand they was still open for business and taking reservations and money.All while there was a sign on the door from the state,telling all this.I am not sure since if they have cleared it up but I know while all this was going on the owner said it was just an over sight on his part..I say there mailbox was full from pissed off customers.I haven't called to see if there # was still working but I know there sign is still up on there building.Do u have a 1-800# for them or a local #?????
