Helping my son.  Three way recorded call promised one time debit for membership. Had a trial time and if cancel membership before the dead line get reimbursed.  Stated A+ rating with BBB. Son cancel in the trial time. Unable to set up Web Site.  

No reimbursement given have been being debited from Smart Living Company 39.95 a month since April and EMerchant Company 29.95 since 05/03/2012.  Never mentioned a double debit in the initial phone call. Verified both companies are associated with each other.  Both have same phone number.

Tried calling both companies in regards to the debits and to stop the debits.  No help without a member number even though it is my debit card.  Stated it is fraud and need to talk to your bank.  They won't stop debiting my account.  Have had to get new debit card, file a dispute with my card.

My son can't even get through to them, won't assist him either.  When he canceled stated they would reimburse me.  Don't do this.  It will cost you just like it has cost me.

Companies will not assist to stop the debits, will not even help verify any information, lie on the phone.
At the time I had no computer or internet so I was unable to check company on line.  I felt reluctant to do this, should have stuck with my gut feeling.

We take customer satisfaction very seriously, and we apologize for any confusion in regards to the cancellation of your 90 Day Free Trial. You can review our full cancellation policy in your membership agreement and also on our website: https://www.smartlivingcompany.com/Account/membershiprules

Your son received a member number when he joined, and you will need that number when you call to cancel. 

The Smart Living Company cancellation policy is listed on our website and is as follows:
If you cancel your membership within 90 days of joining Smart Living Company, you are eligible for a refund of your membership fees (excluding shipping and handling) if its within 90 days of your start date and you have returned your membership kit. Call toll free 1-877-523-9088 for eligibility and cancellation instructions. Trial Members: You may cancel during your Trial Membership and no further monthly charges will be assessed thereafter. If you cancel your membership within 90 days following the end of your Trial Membership, you are eligible for a refund of your initial membership payment. After the 90 Days, and at any time during your ongoing membership, you may cancel and no further monthly charges will be assessed. Previous monthly charges are not refundable. To cancel, call toll-free 1-877-523-9088. 

Website Cancellations: You may cancel your membership, website or any other eMerchantClub services any time by notifying us in writing by cofirmed e-mail to cancel@emerchantclub.com, confirmed fax to 1-888-201-2680, or first-class, registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to eMerchantClub, Attn: Website Cancellation, 4119 Guardian Street, Simi Valley, California 93063. Any incoming E-mail sent to cancelled or terminated accounts will not be bounced back or forwarded to another account. Everything regarding the website that is stored on our servers may be deleted. Cancellation will not entitle you to a refund or relieve you of your obligation to pay the remaining balance of your account. However, if you cancel within 30 days of purchasing an eMerchantClub website, we may apply the purchase price in the form of a merchandise credit to your SMC account. eMerchantClub makes no representation to the amount of traffic or sales that will be made from a website or related products purchased from eMerchantClub.
