Please be wary of company's like Smartech. Companys like this are on scam websites for a reason. They are trying to hire skilled professionals to represent the northern Michigan territory.

The problem is that they are only willing to pay $11/hr with $.26/mile reimbursement. They offer no training and are more concerned about making it look as though their territory is covered rather than ensuring the person they hire is capable and comfortable doing the job. They allow non certified and inexperienced individuals to work on computers and servers in banks, hospitals, residents and commercial businesses.

They have been known to send new employees to "training" in an unknown city. Although they promise paid for meals and hospitality, they do not make good on their offer-forcing you to pay out of pocket for company expenses in hopes you will be reimbursed within the next 2 weeks. In
short, their lack of professionalism and poor business ethics are making the IT industry look bad.
