I have been a member of SMC since July of 2005 & have no problems at all with the company.

I do not like the price or the quality of their website they offer through Emerchant, so I went with a web hosting company through a business acquaintance I know & have a fully functioning website for only a fraction of the cost of SMC's site.

This is not a get rich quick business. I haven't put too much time in my business, treating it more as a hobby, but I have a decent customer base.

If you want to make money with SMC, then you need to put forth the effort. These products have flooded eBay, but people get into SMC thinking that they are the only person who ever had the thought to sell their products on eBay & then go to forums like this & whine & cry about being taken when nothing sells. If you want free money, buy a printing press, not an SMC membership.

If you want a business to call your own & are willing to make it work, then this is one of the cheaper businesses you can own & not have expensive franchise fees to pay or have a lot of start up capital requirements to meet.

Anyone who want more info on how to set up a cheaper website that is in my opinion better, contact me.

I have read alot of Negative reports about SMC.

I feel I need to give a response from my own personal experience with SMC. I have been a member of SMC for 1 full yr. now. I bought the $114.00 package last year and received everything I paid for in the package. Including the FREE Business Coaching Personnel for 90 days.

I also have the Gift Card Redemption Website and I received the FREE Gift Cards to help me get started. All is going well for me and looks promising for the future as well.

The package is very well written and easy to understand. It's packed full of valuable information and well worth the cost.

Having said that...I too thought I would receive a FREE Website! I was at first disappointed that the FREE Website was not the one I expected but, I gave it a try anyway. I am glad I did cause, I like it and I have made money using it.

I'm trying to understand why someone with SMC's company would tell you that you need to purchase a more expensive website in order to accept credit cards online. I use PayPal's service and it's completely FREE! As a matter of fact, my FREE Gift Card Website came with PayPal already integrated into it. All I had to do was set up my own PayPal account.

I have invested an estimated amt. of $1000.00 so far and this includes...SMC Package $114.00 $299.00 for extra supplies to help me get started and $29.95/mo for my Redemption Website. I received a couple months free which was a big help.

When I need to call SMC...I have no trouble speaking to a live representative and am sorry that others did not receive the same positive experience that I have.

I can't help but wonder if we are talking about the same SMC company. I have heard that there is another company out there with this same name, different web address.

In today's economy, the world needs reputable companies. In my opinion, SMC is reputable as I have had a Great Customer Experience with them and I continue to this day!
