SMC EMC, MSN, SMC has ripped me off for the last 2 years after I had cancelled my membership. I had called them twice and in last 2 years and they have taken $49.95 out of my account. FONTANA, California

In 2008 I had enrolled in a sales with SMC I had paid nearly $400.00 up front and paid 30 something dollars a month after that for 1 year. Around November 2009 I had paid another $49.95 yearly fee to keep my membership up even though I have not one time ever used, bought or sold any of their products.

I 2010 I had called and canceled my membership and was told that it had been canceled. Well November come around and they had charged me another $49.95 yearl fee. When it came close to November this year I had made several attempts to call them again.

With several attempts on several different days I finally got in touch with the lady that I had first signed up with(L.B). I had told her that I wanted to cancel my membership and she advised that I needed another department. She transfered me to someone else she said was in another state.

While I was on hold waiting for someone I finally got disconected. Well I waited a few more days and called back to a different number. I then talked to a man and explained to him all the trouble I was haveing trying to cancel my membership. He advised he was sorry for that and said he would cancel my membership. This time this call was recorded. And all the other calls I make will be recorded.

I had waited for the 20 to 21st of November 2011 and guess what,there was the same charge, $49.95. I had called my bank and asked them what I should do and they insisted that I close my account. Well that would be easy for some people but not for me. Seeing I already have money coming out of my account that would take me a month or so to close and get my deposits rerouted.

To my openion SMC is running a scam and should be sued for what they are doing.
