Soft Technology, Rick Harrison (alias) Computer security product scam

I am having a similar problem with Soft Technology.  They recently signed my friend (who is in his 70's and rather trusting) up for Computer Security Services.  He paid a ridiculous amount ($599.99) to get help with a virus, only to receive a call one month later that he owed several thousands in additional money.  They tried to tell him that he had accessed a porn site earlier in the day (which was not true, as he was at his son's college graduation) and when he went to get on the computer, he had been locked out.  Computer is now in Safe Mode and he can't get back in.  The representative was Patrick Wolf (which obviously is NOT his real name).  

I'm trying to get additional information on who these people are so that they can be reported to multiple authorities, as they are trying to extort money from the elderly.  Unbelievable!  

Regardless, these people are dishonest and should not be trusted.  Their services are a scam.  They get remote access to your computer and then shut you out and harrass you until you pay them additional money.  They need to be shut down ASAP.

BTW - I should also note that Soft Technology is NOT the same as System Soft Technologies.  I recently spoke with the legal counsel at System Soft Technologies and they are a reputable business who sells completely different services (and they do not sell to consumers).  So I do not wish to defame them in any way.  This issue is with Soft Technology, which is a scam.
