I recieved a nasty telephone call today from a genelemen named Edgar that worked at this company he stated that i failed to repay a payday loan. He stated that the company was Sonic Cash advance. Said that i needed to contact an attorney because they were going to charge me with three counts of fraud charges and that the sherrif whould knock on my door tommorow. But we could take care of this if i could come up with $1495.00 on a ( I believe that it was 300.00 loan) Ihavent heard from this company untill today.) No emails or phone calls.

I stated that i didnt have that kind of money he then said what can you afford i stated 200.00/month untill this is paid off. Is this legal? he then stated that id have to type and fax a letter that was a apoligy letter and had to be written word for word he told me what to say and fax it to him. Then i had to purchase a pre-paid visa and give him the numbers.

In the letter that i faxed i ask to please send all documents that they may have on this loan and when this is paid off to please send a letter. He called me back and said i have to redo the letter b/c he said i demand the info. And thats not what he told me to do.

I looked up the telephone number and all it was is that its in california
